Bee my friend - Thought
Today, I went and had a coffee and watched the highly anticipated, Bee Movie! with my dear friends from highschool. I was picked up by Sarah in her snazzy little Getz, "Little Bitch" as it was christened and together we went and picked up Christine! A great thing about my two lovely friends is that, even though we have known each other for so long now, they still show courtesy by coming to my house and ringing the doorbell to fetch me! I don't have a problem with miss calling anyone to come out of their house at all...but it's just nice that they are so different =) These two girls are unique, such special girls in my life and the memories that we have shared during our highschool days will never ever be forgotten. I think that who I am right now, has been greatly influenced by Christine and Sarah...their weirdness and strange humour. Well this blog entry is dedicated to the unstoppable Rah and Chi and just a few of the adventures they have shared with Evy...together we are Sevchri!
Sevchri, ahaha we went to a river cruise one year as part of our school social and whilst waiting to board, we discovered a tiny stretch of sand/beach beside the water and we ingeniously dubbed it, Sevchri beach. After we created this trademark name, while at school we made use of our English class and gave each other roles for looking after the beach eg. Flag cleaner, wave pusher and sand maintenance...gosh we were weird and also we made business cards and name tags for each other. We also had a secret code for communicating with each other, with sign language!
Another time during English class, Sarah had to leave for an appointment, but she was in our group for a presentation to the class and would miss it, leaving Chi and me to present. Chi and me really didn't want to present, so we asked the teacher if we could practise our speeches in another room, instead we hid ourselves under a stack of tables and chairs and stayed there for the rest of the class. The teacher coulnd't find us but Sarah did when she came back!
Cont...Evy needs to sleep!

A little christmas cheer - Life
Yay! Tuesday...always an eventful and wallet-friendly day =) I woke up like any other day and hit my elbow, as I always do every morning on the corner of my bedside table, it has become a part of my daily routine! I received a phonecall from that dork again and he said something about my blog, like I admit I am punky...like pfft, I never admitted anyyyything =)oh and then the next thing I know, I was in the car with him and we had pulled into the carpark at carousel shopping centre, WOO! They had the cutest puppies in the pet shop today, so small, so sleepy and dopey looking ehehe. I could spend hours just looking at puppies play...I love the really naughty ones that bite their other puppy siblings..it's cool. I was so hungry by the time we arrived at carousel, I didn't eat a thing all morning, actually I havn't been eating breakfast for a whole week now and have pretty much eaten just two really small meals a day, not intentional...just lazy to cook! The dorky bought me some really good mushroom pasta/potato bake/roast vegetables for lunch and got himself some Indian food, I swear he is an Indian himself...always eats the food and is starting to loooooook like one =P While I was sitting down waiting for him to order his food, I noticed a few asian people around me eating away, have you ever noticed that asian people love to look at other asian people? It's true you know...just walk down a shopping isle and you will understand what I mean...such funny people...so funny actually that even I do it! hahaha...I am so funny. On a full stomach we started our present hunting, bought cookies from the cookieman, a toblerone & on & on & on & on & on..., and also a christmas tree with decorations, minus a star. Sometimes Dorky and me really love to indulge ourselves...so what did we buy this time? three Disney movies including, Alice in Wonderland, Pocahontas annnnnd Mulan! We ended up watching Pocahontas when we got back...and let me ask you this..."can you paint with all the colours of the wind?" can you? can you?? Hehe, one of my favourite Disney movies, it's very pretty. Dorky has quite a sweet side to him, he suggested that we buy a christmas tree for a friend's 2 and a half year old daughter, a bit of christmas cheer =) so, that is exactly what we did. We brought over the tree to the house and together, the little girl, Amber and me decorated the tree with baubles, tinsel and candy canes!! She learnt pretty fast on what needed to be done and it was so cute when she figured out how to attach a bauble to the tree branch....awwww. It was alot of fun decorating the teeny weeny tree, but just to see her face light up gave us all a little bit of cheeriness, even when she insisted on taking all the decorations off and putting them back on the tree, five times..oh well. As dorky said, Amber can now look back after many years and say that we gave her, her first christmas tree experience =) hooray for christmas!

The Joys of Mondays - Life
Ah, Mondays, Mondays, Mondays...how I dread them! I have, for as long as I can remember, always dreaded Mondaaaaaays because they are a piece of poo and nothing ever exciting ever happens on these days. Today, unfortunately was no different to any other Monday. After having a nice, refreshing weekend full of great company, shopping and good food, I woke up this morning to a great big ball of nothingness! Some worthy examples of what I meant by "nothingness"? having nothing in my head to contemplate, nothing in my stomach to digest, nothing in my inbox to click and delete and nothing, or rather no one on my msn list to share my cleverness and wit with...Mondays really make me sad =( Because I don't particularly enjoy being miserable sad, I decided to turn on the happy TV and found myself watching a cantonese-based movie called "2become1". It was about a woman whose life was turned around once she found out that she had breast cancer...not a bad movie, although it did just confirm my belief that asians are insanely superstitious....too superstitious, and I laughed throughout the movie, but at the end of it, I really don't think that it was supposed to be a comedy...I often don't understand the obvious...so sad, no wonder people assume I'm blur and weird...but I reckon that I just see things from a different perspective! Just to prove that I'm not a horrible person at laughing at cancer...I think that this movie had the intention of making its audience see that having support and being optimistic shall "set you free" during rough times rather than embracing fear and dispair...and that you should "face bad things with a cheerful heart" =) Annnnnnyway...For the rest of the morning, I managed to waste it away by searching for a blog skin for my page and as you can probably see, I was unsuccessful, even though I looked for hours until I got leg cramps from not moving =( My day however became considerably brighter when that dorky of mine called...why?? because it meant that I could show off my punkiness! hohohoho...I love being all punky and rebellious towards him...it's so much fun! His reactions are quite cute though...such a "tough" bloke he is =P I went over to dorky's house sometime in the afternoon to watch the last two episodes of "Fullhouse" hoorah!! After watching this korean series 4-5 times now, I can happily say that I am still in love with Rain!! (To a certain someone who may read this and become all sooky...you have your Jessica Alba-ny =P)..next...Disney movie marathon for us! woooo! wow, a pretty uneventful day and it still took me over an hour to write up this entry...now I'm scared for when I actually have something more exciting to write about..it could take days! oh wells...hehehe ooooooh! btw...WELCOOOOOME TO EVY'S PAGE!! =p
