Omg ahaha, I didn't expect that I would stop blogging for so long =\ Well a lot has happened since my last entry, I think a bit too much has happened, but I'll try my best to try and remember what I've been up to hehe! Here goes...


15/12/07 ~ Charlie aka Treeboi's combined Bday BbQ

Dorky and I were invited to Charle's 22nd bday bbq@ Hyde park. It was a really gloomy, kinda cold day for a bbq..haha I remember thinking that I would much rather stay at home and sleep,but nevertheless we went, because we are good friends. We arrived at Hyde park an hour late because I had to work in the morning, how depressing. I was told that this was a combined birthday, where there were three bdayians and I expected a really big crowd...but when we got to our destination, there were barely 20 people there...haha oh dear. It started to drizzle down with rain after we arrived so we had to collect all the food and presents and relocate into a tiny gazebo! It was nice and cozy until more people started to rock up..people I didn't know =( so I kept close to dorky. I found out that this so called bbq, wasn't really a bbq at all after a while because the bbq wasn't even used...it was a picnic in the rain =) The food was quite okay especially the marinated chicken pieces and the samosas!! mmmm, I didn't eat that much though, usually I would pig out and takke advantage of free food, but I was shy ^^ Oooh there was also a dog there called "beibei", it was sooooo tiny and had massive feet for such a tiny one and it was oh-so-cute! The type of cute where you just want to scoop it up, put it into your handbag and steal it away. The dog ranaway halfway through the picnic and caused a group of the people there to go out into the rain and find poor Beibei. Dorky and I stepped out into the rain and thought that we did our part in the search ahaha. We found out that the dog ran back to it's home...how cute! I think the most exciting thing that happened after the runaway dog was the cutting of the cake or rather, the smooshing of the cake in people's faces. Haha creamy cake is the best, I think ice cream would've been just as good =) Towards the end of the bbq, we found that charlie seemed to have a special someone beside him..like ooer. After the bbq dorky brought me home to have a shower and get changed and we met up with charlie, the "other girl" and vince for dinner at bullcreek hawkers, i had san mee!!! After dinner, dorky and me drove all the way to east perth to visit tracee, nat and sara for a singstar session. I was so bad at it T_T why did I have this idea in my mind that i was going to be pro at it...sigh I think i'm the best haha! Because I sucked so terribly, I was determined to go buy singstar for myself to practise in time for our next singstar party ^^.

19/12/07 - Dorky's 24th Bday<3

HAPPY 24TH BIRTHDAAAAAAY DORKYYYYYY! Yaaaay! The day had finally come to celebrate his birthday =) We started the celebrations after he came home from work. Dorky brought me over to his house so that he could open up my long awaited bday present to him. Hhehe he had been trying to guess what it was for up to 2 weeks and he actually did guess what it was early on..hmmph but i told him it wasn't it so he'd suffer more..hehe..At his house, everyone was getting ready to leave for the restaurant, i drank this uber strong alcohol that was given to dorky for his bday...tasted bad ahahah anyway...we all piled into Alan's car and drove so fast and the car was so loud...haha i felt like we were driving to escape police or something..could've wet my pants! The restaurant, which i've forgotten the name hehe, but i'll call it "yummy chinese", served us some lobster sashimi, like yomyom, peking duck, like uber yom, funny looking meatballs ahaha and other dishes that were all equally as yum. My parents were also invited to the dinner, it was a chance for them to meet dorky's parents...hahaha mum was kinda nervous about the whole things, "but i don't know anyone, i'll feel funny". so cute...they did feel a bit nervous because the only peoply they knew were me, dorky and vincey. oh welllll..at least they made the effort to come. My parents had bought dorky a birthday cake, which they ordered from none other than mr foo!! instead of singing "happy birthday" to dearest dorky, the restaurant people decided to play it over the speakers huahuahua, lucky for dorky that all the other customers had left. After dinner us younguns went over to dorky's house for a bit of chit chat and good old guitar hero, just like old times, how grand. Happy birthday.

22/12/07 - Jess's 21st Bday

Jess, my uni buddy has the exact same birthdate as my dorky! How queeeeer! I wonder if Jess is the female version of dorky...hope not for Jess's sake huahuahua. Annnyway, Dorky and I were invited to Jess's 21st "black and white cocktail" themed party at her house in morley. Dorky and i had been shopping for this event for ages...I think we may have gone over the top ahaha, but it was all good, we bought items that could be used again and again =) smart shoppers we were! Speaking of smart, i thought that we looked very smart indeed, dorky looked like he was going to a ball of some sort hehehe, very spunky lar. Before the party we went to find something good to eat. For us, when we are in doubt we turn to nandos, so nandos it was! it felt so weird when we walked into nandos all dressed up hahaha, i felt like all these eyes were looking at us. We hid in the corner as we waited for the food. We ate like piggies at dorky's house, but we ate happy, because nandos is happy food! Anyway, the time had come for us to depart off to Jess's long awaited party. As we entered morley, we looked around at the streets, omg such perfect looking houses, these streets had won awards for looking neat. I had no idea that awards were issued to streets of all things, people have far too much time to think of such weird awards...how about an award for being the best in the world (Evy!!). lameooo hahah anyways, got to Jess's house and there were already heaps of people there. Her garage was turned into a mini dancefloor and she had also hired out a jukebox..it was cool! There was a table that was covered in such delicious looking food, if i had known there was so much food, i wouldn't have eaten any nandos (hahah who am i kidding, of course i wouldv'e), i had a few bites of quiches and things...yumm party food. Dorky and i sat with the twins, sara and kim and we drank very alcoholic punch...mmmm. Jess was wearing a cobolt blue/purple dress that was so pretty awww, but i think her cousin tried to upstage her something, because she also wore blue. hahaha. We had a few light conversation with Jess and took some photos of ourselves and we looked at photos of Jess, a collage of her life that was screened on TV and I made an appearance =D I feel valued as a friend aahaha. I almost died when all the desserts came out and replaced the savoury things...omg there was so much yummy food. if only we hadn't eaten any nandos, then i couldv'e indulged ahaha. There were so many brownies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, creamy puffs, lattice and cream, jelly shots...and much more T_T i couldn't even fit cake in, which by the way was layered and had a barbie on it and bon jovi figurine on top. There were the famous 21st birthday speeches, Sara had the honour of giving one as she was Jess's best friend, and she did it in front of soooo many people, it was so sweet and i think a few tears were shed. After all that there was dancing and more chatting to do, but dorky and i decided it was time to head home for a well deserved sleep, after eating waaaay too much. Yay! Happy 21st birthdaaaaay, now I can't wait for mine =P

25/12/07 - Christmas time

My favourite time of the year!!! The carols, the trees, the food, the company..there is always a big build up to christmas here in perth and i was quite happy to be spending it here again with everyone. I think this christmas was quite special because jas, ama, sf, dorky and my family were here as well, it felt so much more complete hehehe. In the morning my parents and i went to church to hear about the true meaning of christmas, which was so refreshing. My dad fell asleep during the sermon, typical! I also got to see slothy, which i havnt done so in such a long long time...it was just so nice to meet with my brother again hehe. My mum also decided to hold a little gathering at my house for lunch and being my mum, she cooked sooooo much. The menu consisted of beef and chicken satays with the rice, cucumbers, pineapple and red onion, samosas, vietnamese spring rolls (made by yours truly), mee goreng, lobster, sambal bbq fish, squid and prawns, sausages, bbq vegetables, cold cooked prawns, jelly!, chicken salad, garden salad, potato salad, a roasted leg of ham, turkey, steaks and more! I remember having to prepare a lot! It was a really hot hot hot day, in very high 30's of some sort but we had a lot of ice and drinks. Dorky brought over alcohol, we had so much it looked like a mini bar...no gathering is complete without it! ahah narr...it was just to make the gathering a bit more special by having mixed drinks for everyones enjoyment. I liked the lemon lime bitters =D Dorky arrived 1st and he set up his little bar and then van arrived with 2 bags of ice and chips! then ama arrived with jas then sf and weiwei. A few of my parents' friends also arrived, such as the pastor of our church and actually, they were all churchy people! I think the churchies ate far more than the people i invited...disappointing guys!! haha oh well, we made dorky take home a box of food. The hit of the gathering, I thought was singstar!! Everyone had a go at singing and no one took it seriously...well i don't think anyone did...maybe vincent and his barbie girl song ahaah. All in all, singstar was a hit because we sang for around 6 hrs. I made everyone take home a little treat that i made..i like to spread the christmas cheer.. i am a mini santa. After everyone had left, ama, jas, me and dorky set off to snooker lounge to join alvin for a christmas party, for i think 15 minutes..hahah dorky bought a carton of beer...i hope that alvin appreciated it! Thennn..it was off to utopia for us, where we'd spend the rest of our christmas!! Wei2 joined us and so did ama's friend. It was a lot of fun, I was smiling the whole day and i even sang and karaoke...like omg...well kind of singing ahaha. we pulled bonbons, which revealed really ugly looking prizes, like a lice figure and lame jokes...all part of christmas i guess! i loooooooooove christmas!
