Christmas was really relaxing. Didn't do anything in particular, I just hovered around the kitchen for most of the morning watching and helping my mum prepare dinner...she was so anxious to get everything cooked in time...in the end she finished cooking dinner by 3pm. In between cooking, my mum and me opened up our presents! We had a big load this year...I don't know why...maybe because everything was bulky...she was really pleased and happy with everything, which is good. Bf came over for the day as well and we passed time by watching a korean series...a love to kill...it has Rain in it!! It was all drama so I didn't find it as addictive...needs humour in it. We decided to eat our fantastic dinner at around 5...ham, turkey, pork, prawns, chips, veges, potato bakes...yumyum! We ate until we were going to explode...my mum made the dinner out to be a buffet setting...so she made us eat! After dinner bf and me went to Bibra Lake to see the Christmas lights...it was amazing!! I felt like I was in some theme park...the work that the household put into the display was so good...they even had a real lamb as part of it and it was really smelly! We also stopped by utopia for bbt to finish off our night =D
On Boxing Day, we woke up and headed to the city for the city-wide stocktake sale...omg..the am ount of people there was scary. Bf and me made the mistake of entering through Myers...we were kind of trapped on one floor, so we decided to exit and walk around to the other shops. People were going crazy...it felt like I was shopping in Asia during CNY! Shopping was actually pretty frustrating..long lines and rude people...grrr! Afterwards, we went for dinner at Saigon with Calvin and bf's other workmate..think his name was Michael...an ang mo guy, he made some pretty funny comments and he looked quite awkward most of the time, which was entertainment for me...maybe he felt odd being the only white person in the group so he felt he needed to crack white jokes? I don't know...We then walked to the soccer stadium by 8 to watch the Glory play. When we got there...wow, there were so many people! 12, 000 I think, I actually found it more interesting to watch everyone around me than the actual game. For the rest of the night I lay in my bed readinf the Twilight books...I'm loving them...I'm hoping to finish the 3rd book before Friday so that I can go on holiday in peace hehe.
The next day, we went shopping again at Garbos...I didn't buy very much at all, which was disappointing, but bf did get me the 4th season of Spongebob! =D He bought a lot of clothes though, which he was happy about. Was emo for the rest of the day though...
Today, went over to bf's house watch a Taiwanese series called, Why Why Love, it has Rainie in it. It's really corny but funny in a stupid of way, so I can continue watching it! Think we are up to episode 4...anyway in the late afternoon we went and had dinner at Nandos! Mmmmmm!! Then we went to watch Madagascar 2...it was really funny, but a bit predictable. I saw the preview for a new movie called Monsters vs. Aliens, it looks really good! So we must all go watch that when it comes out! Now I'm home and I'm bored...I haven't read much of my books today, but I will soon...instead I've been playing with my hair...I really want to change it somehow..maybe the parting? And I want to have black hair again...think that it'll be a nice change for the new year!
