I've had a busy week...being out everyday, so it's taken me a while to blog and remember eveything. It was a good week I guess...but because a lot happened...the blog might seem long! So sorry to strain your eyes...skim read =D
Monday...I went to the city to meet up with Jas to shop for SF's present. We ate at Mr Samurai first though...I was super hungry! I still can't believe how cheap the food is there! We then browsed Myer for a while looking in the cosmetics sections...there was a lot of options there but in the end we got her a make-up case. It was pretty cool and worth the amount it cost! Afterwards we shopped around a little bit and ended up at Jennie's stationery shop (next to Takas!) and accompanied her until closing time. It was really fun! We gossiped and questioned a certain someone online...hahah we're so mean. Jas and me also made a birthday card for SF..it had a pig on it...and it was very colourful. I went home with Jennie and Jeral, who I had not seen in ages...those two are so funny and kept the journey back home entertaining=D
Tuesday...SF's birthday...Jas, Ama , Jennie plus 1 and bf met up in Northbridge to eat at Teacafe. We sat and chatted a bit before going upstairs to Utopia for Sf's birthday. I hadn't been in those karaoke rooms in ages...nothing much had changed. When we got into the room all I saw was this pink thing jumping towards us..sf and I didn't really know anyone else in the room..ahh room full of strangers. Sf seemed pretty energetic and I guess happy, which was good to see, but it was weird seeing her after not seeing her for a long time? Anyway...karaoke was really hot and stuffy and before the night even started, bf had to go home early to sleep and you know...he announced that he was leaving to everyone in the room and said his goodbyes...but he failed to even say bye to me or look at me! Grrr...I just know that I felt so neglected. He came back to say bye to me after the girls asked him to...but that didn't change the way I felt...I felt so unloved...unloved!! Anyway...during the night, Levi was being hell annoying and kept trying to take photos of us...so I had a plate in front of my face the whole night. I'm glad he hasn't put anything up on facebook..The coolest parts of the night was Sf's giant cake...shame we couldn't eat much of it...and the other cool part was watching one of Sf's friends...he was really helplful throughout the night and not a bad singer either! I think we wanted to befriend him ahaha. We left at around 12ish waiting for wei2 to arrive, but he never did..so Jennie drove us all back home in her plus 1's massive BMW...she's so brave to have driven that! We got home safely in the end =D
Wednesday..I woke up with a surprise...bf was home and didn't go to work and asked if I wanted to go shopping, because he felt bad for saying goodbye to everyone except for me, at SF's birthday...hmmph. I grudgingly said OK to the offer...he's so bad. Anyway, we went to the Galleria to buy the twins a present for their birthdays. It was a really hard choosing presents for people that already have everything! In the end we got them perfume and a wallet..not the most original gifts but meh! hehehe. By the end of the day..I guess the gurdge I had had gone away...he distracted me welll...hmm I feel sorry for hime sometimes...I really shouldn't get so sensitive about things...need to reform.
Thursday...I had work. I was up at takeaway because Mary had already left on her holiday. It wasn't very busy so I was happy to chat with the girls at work and I showed them my sunburns ahaha..I wasn't the only one that had them..but they did seem to be the worst =( Work wasn't too bad...I took home a lot of food and my boss gave me 1/4 of a carrot cake for my mum. At night, bf and me went to Carousel in search of Guitar Hero: World Tour =D We found it at EB games for $279 I think. We found Fooky there too buying the same game ahaha. We also shopped for the twins's birthday cards...a softball with a message written on it for their 21st (they play softball ahaha). Afterwards we went back to dorky's and quickly set up guitar hero and played it until we were ready to KO. Guitar Hero rocks!
Friday...I had work. It wasn't very busy but I still had to work up at takeaway...felt so lonely and stinky. At night, bf and me went to city for some late night shopping..but first we ate at the food court...yummy yummy. We walked around browsing this and that. New shops had also opened up, which was exciting..mimco is coming! I wonder what else will open...we keep saying that Perth is starting to look a bit like Sydney, just that it needs to expand heaps more. I don't think we bought very much...oh bf did buy me an early Christmas present...muahs! The Christmas decorations around the city were also really nice this year...so many pretty lights and I loved the red bow around the bridge/arch things hehe. Ohh and we saw police horses! They were massive and looked so proud!
On Saturday I had to work at the cafe for the first time in ages! I was kind of forced to work because work was short staffed. All the regular workers had gone off on holiday...so I was expecting the day to be really busy, luckily it wasn't. My boss even asked an ex-worker to come. She's hardcore, with all these piercings and tattoos...she's a vegan too. I felt a bit intimidated by her, even though she was super friendly hmm...anyway my boss paid me $65 for 3.5 hours of work...yey! In the afternoon bf and me went to meet Calvin at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow and ate wedges before heading to the Perth Glory soccer match...I wasn't left to be babysitted this time =( But I guess the match was quite exciting this time...3 goals! I made sure I was in the shade too, I had sunscreen on and everything! I bought bf a soccer shirt from the merchandise stand...hehe his early Christmas present! After the game, bf and me walked into Northbridge to Teacafe! We love that place...Since I was craving the spaghetti bolognaise...I got it! Mmm it was worth the wait. I also tried the fruit and sago drink...it was so filling. After that we went to Easyway for our usual bubbletea then home we went!
Sunday...bf and me went to Henley Brook/Swan Valley for the twin's 21st birthday. Man, it was such a long drive, like we were driving into the country side. The venue was quite nice, the type of place where you would have your wedding reception, surrounded by vineyards. The guests that were invited were all of the twins's relatives...they have a very picture perfect family. Yops. At first, it felt a little awkward at the party...knowing no one, we were really the only Asian people there..the guests probably thought we had wandered into the wrong place. We didn't exactly act very social either. Oh well, good thing Sara and Kim were there to talk to us! The twin's mum also came and had a chat with us..she was really really nice, which I didn't expect, but she made us feel really welcome...she already knew who I was without me having to introduce myself...waaaaah I felt so special! There was lots of wine to drink, which was yummy and herb sausages in buns, beef noodles, the yummiest pizza, the yummiest chips and other nibbles to eat =D Oh and their cakes were so cute, 2 giant cupcakes! Hmm what else...I made Tracee and Natalie open up the softball that we signed as their card...hehe they seemed to really like it, I hope they like the actual present we got them too...they're just too hard to buy for! They're the type that already has everything...they are quite well off afterall. Oooh and we also saw a horse there =D I found out when I got home that my parents had woken up early to go watch the Christmas Pagent...in the day time? So weird...my parents are weird.
I shall never ever get sunburnt again. Seems like the burn was worse than I had thought =( Especially my shoulders, which look like 3rd degree burns! On a happier note though...I have already peeled off one layer of skin...man it was really gross but soooo addictive pulling off large pieces...it kind of reminded me of the fish flakes that came with the tako yaki I ate in Singapore ahahaha...Just yesterday the skin from my legs peeled (alot of it) and I made bf peel some too...I just wanted to see him squirm, so entertaining. Hmm...I've also started to develop moles or something dark on my legs and arms...hope it isn't too serious...arghh please heal faster!
