I read through my last blog and gees, to me...Christmas seemed like it only happened yesterday, but now the first month of 2009 is almost over! My goodness time really flies...
Anyway, let me officially start by saying...HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2009 came by quickly and the remainder of the group and me celebrated in a different way...on the roof of Robin and Big Dan's house! Before that happened...on the night of NYE the mini party (Jen, Jas, Jeral, Shirley, Rach for a bit, Eva, bf and me) started off at Jennie's house, where we had fun playing pictionary, looking through Jen's old photos...oh how young the girls looked before...so cute and onnocent looking! We also drank a bit of bubbly and tasted Jen's jelly...they smelt nice haha...taste was a different story...don't worry Jen, I'm sure that with practise you'll be a jelly pro soon. Thanx for the effort though ahaha. Anyway after the house party we decided to drive to Big Dan's house to watch fireworks on their roof! They had no idea we were there, them being away overseas and all...it was sneaky mwahaha. Each one of us had to climb off the balcony around the house and up to the peak of the roof...good thing it was dark otherwise I would've freaked out. The climb was worth it in the end...the view was really nice. We had a few bloopers on the roof...the champagne was popped too early shocking us all plus we were all scolding Jeral ahah and we counted down to the new year either too late or too early...I'm not sure haha...it was just alot of fun! We did something different, maybe it's a sign that this year will be different too! Climbing down the roof was scarier than climbing up...I'm proud of myself...I didn't fall =) Afterwards we headed back to Jen's place to finish off our Pictionary game...unbelievably...we won ahahaha...go us! A good start to my new year hehehe!
That was it for what we got up to but now...it's time for a nice reflection...
While we were on the roof of the house, I had a quiet moment to myself haha...I wondered about the future and thought back to 2008, so many changes, growth, endings and new beginnings. It's really scary thinking about the new year but exciting not knowing what's to come...for me this year I am officially a graduate looking for a job. Just waiting for something to come up! I've made a new years resolution to be more active and more organised so that I will stress less..eat better food and just really enjoy life since I have time now...also not to hold grudges and be a better daughter/sister and friend...need to kick my stubborness out. Anways enough of that...all the best for everyone this year...take care and have fun because here comes another adventure =)
xoxo
