HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!
Some people dread this Hallmark holiday...and I have to admit, I was one of them for a while, until I got into a relationship...yes I was suckered in like the rest of the world! I guess I'm just being a complete girl here =P Anyway, I spent most of the day preparing his gift...baking, printing photos and doing all the yucky stuff like writing love notes ahaha...luckily I got everything finished by 5:40, ten minutes before he was due to pick me up! The pressure in getting it all done in time, really made me excited for the night ahead! Sad, yes!
(
Gift from me to him...cookies =D)He picked me up and was giving me a cheesy grin...he was smartly dressed, which means he made effort haha...hehe what we wore kind of matched! How sickening it must have been to those who saw us =P He put my hamper that I gave him in the backseat of the car and hehehe the gift from him was sitting next to it! Awww I love it so much!! He did the typical Valentine's thing and gave me a box of chocolates, a Me2U bear and a panda full of stars!

(
His gift for me...so sweet!)But, he told me that his gift didn't stop there...he drove me to a destination unknown for a surprise dinner. He went to the city and drove into a carpark that I had never been to and we caught a lift up 30 something floors to a circular restaurant....the C Restaurant! It was all so nice!
Everyone at the restaurant was sitting in pairs because it was a special V day event, so there had to be a booking for a set meal of 4 courses! The atmosphere was really, really nice with a piano player and singer, singing most of my favourite slow songs...ah, so spoilt

(
My veal...yom!)The food was really good as well...all quite strange but I really liked it! Fine dining is awesome. I loved the oyster shots..yommm, I could have heaps of those and also the lobster and safron jelly! My veal was very tender and the caramelised apple was good too! And the desserts...so pretty! Haha. Good food! Even though the portions were small, we were both surprisingly really full afterwards. By the end of the meal, we made one full circle around the restaurant and ended up at the spot where we started...the best part of all the night though, was seeing the sun set in front of us, just as we took the last bite of our dessert...it was all just perfect timing =)

(
The yummiest oyster shots!)The next part of the gift was a movie! We watched He's just not that into you. It was really good...can't believe how many celebrities were in that movie! I thought the story line was very cleverly put together...I'd watch it again =P I also saw some people at the cinema that I knew, which was entertaining...like "genie in a bottle" girl...think her real name is Winda..lol...she got that name for being on Australian Idol and really embarrassing herself and we also saw Calvin, who was with a girl workmate...oooer!! Funfunfun!
