I've been getting really sensitive about the sun lately because of my sunburn incident...so much so that I have started to apply sunscreen even though I am indoors all day...that's paranoia for ya! It's all good though, I love the suncreen Jas introduced to me...thankyou chicken =D
Anyway...I last blogged on Friday, so I'm going to talk about Saturday, since it's still quite fresh in my mind =) Well...I completely missed Jenny's surprise party at Kings Park...I feel so awful about it because just as I was about to leave my house, who else but Jenny called me up to ask me not to come anymore because everyone was leaving! Argh! I can't believe everyone left grrr! Sorry Jenny...I'll make it up to you one day. So since I was ready to go out anyway, dorky and me went into Northbridge and ate at Teacafe for lunch. Mmm, I love that place. I tried something different...steak with black pepper sauce on spaghetti...it was so yum! Bf also tried seafood fried noodle..it was like sang mee...also really good! After lunch we walked our way to the mall for a bit of window shopping...it felt really good because for once, we weren't looking for anything in particular...so our shopping experience was very laidback. Oh! I got an Edward poster! He's so dreamy =D
At night, there was a Liverpool vs. Manchester soccer game that dorky was scared to watch...he didn't seem to have much confidence in his team winning...cheh, not a true fan! Anyway, Calvin called him up and asked if he wanted to watch the game at the casino, so that's where we went! Parking at Burswood was horrible. Combined with all the turning and bumpiness I really felt motion sickness, I was glad dorky finally found a parking spot right near that lake, so that I could puke if I wanted to. We got inside the casino and found it was very busy indeed. We met up with Calvin and went to the carbon bar or was it lounge? Meh...there were alot of Liverpool and Manu fans already there making a lot of noise. We stood at the back of the crowd for the entire game and I actually watched the whole thing without resorting to my DS! Super proud of myself and I admit, the game wasn't too bad to watch either. I think I just really enjoyed the atmosphere with all the cheering and chanting...I don't think that I could watch a match on TV by myself...ew. The game resulted in good news for dorky...Liverpool won 4-1 and it was also lucky for me that they did, otherwise someone would have been sooky for the rest of the week! Speaking of Liverpool, dorky says that they will be playing in Singapore in July, so he wants to go and watch...seems like we may be heading back there sooner than we thought =P Hooray for food and shopping!
Sunday...dorky came over to eat my mum's curry noodles, which was left over from Saturday, but he insisted on eating it anyway. We cleaned out the whole curry pot! We then went to his house to hangout and to most importantly...finish watching why why love! I thought it would be a sad ending, but it wasn't...it was very happy and gay at the end haha. While waiting for someone to call dorky to play soccer, we watched Eagle Eye, which was alright, very exciting. After the end of the movie, we were both so sleepy and soccer was off so we decided to call it a day and I went home and played neopets. Love lazy Sunday arfternoons!
Monday, nothing much happened at all...time just passed by and I watched Jamie's Fowl Dinners (about where our eggs come from and the welfare of the chickens themselves...it was quite insightful..poor chickens) and I played games all day...a bum's life =D At night, felt lazy again so dorky and me just watched the Food channel on foxtel..Iron Chef is the best! Then we attempted to play Little Big Planet on PS3 but got really confused with what we had to do...so we changed to Wii and played Mario Kart!! Go Red team! It was funfunfun. Then I went home and guess what I did? I played neopets =D
I think I will be working for the rest of the week so boo! Ah well...save up for Sg!
