Yipeeeeeee!! I finally graduated! Officially done with uni...ah it's quite sad actually...it's realisation.

Oh wells, I had a really great time on Sunday...it started at 10am where I had dimsum with my parents, dorky and his mum...my goodness it was early I was hardly awake for it. We didn't eat very much...but it was satisfying..thankyou parents =) Dorky then drove us all to the convention centre where we were greeted by a mass of black coated bodies...aaaah....fellow graduates. A lady came and helped me put mine on...stupid sash kept falling off me =( I met up with the girls for a bit...it seemed like I was too much in a daze and I didn't really express my excitement even though inside I was bursting! I lined up for professional photos with my 4 guests hehehe. Dorky's mum bought me a graduation bear...it's so cute! And dorky bought me a frame for my parchment and photo...thankyou so much...I love it!! Inside..we were given a briefing on how to walk onto the stage and blah blah...I think we all missed the whole process though...we were all too nervous to concentrate hehe. It was all very exciting! Then our families entered...my silly family couldn't even spot me =( guess I'm just too short hmmph. After a didgeridoo performance, there was the national anthem...they screwed it up! Haha it was funny...the music was all scratchy...the people on stage looked embarrassed, but we sang without music..it was all good. Then after a speech or 2...one by one we walked the stage and received our parchments...it was scary! No one stacked it..good job! Then there was a singing performance and more speeches, quite boring towards the end! After all that we popped our poppers and went upstairs for food and toasted with champagne....yom! Thanks to everyone who supported me throughout uni...love you!

At night, dorky and me went to Portofinos at Hillarys Boat Harbour with the uni girls and their families. Oops...we were a little bit overdressed...purely for the fact that Sara asked us all to dress up...we were the only ones that did! We exchanged our secret graduation fairy gifts...Tracee had me and she gave me a starfish bracelet..it's cute and thankyou! Everyone pretty much bought the same thing for each other...either a photoframe or bracelet. I ordered my usual pina colada haha as well as a dozen oysters, which I shared with dorky and also a seafood marinara mmm. I listened to everyone talk about their teaching jobs...ah...a bit sad I couldn't really join in, but I've decided...I'm just on a break..there's no hurry to get into that fulltime lifestyle. Happy happy! After a long dinner, we headed to cold rock for icecream. Bubblegum flavoured with a picnic and gummy bears for us! Yom! After all that..the night was still fairly young, so dorky and me headed to the casino...I played a bit on the machines, had my chocomilk, then went home to bed. A long, but great day....we did it!!
Saturday...went shopping at carousel with dorky...had to find the second half of Sara's present...such a stressful ordeal getting her present...she's picky! I was also looking for a dress...success! (and thankyou for the present...muahs). I also bought a few accessories...earrings and a bracelet =D Hehe...then at night...we went to Basil Thai for dinner because I had to pass David money for Jenny's present...shes getting a laptop...lucky girlll hehe. She's turning 18! wow...18 seems so long ago...I miss it! Anyway...we ordered a green curry, jungle curry, thai cilli mussels and a tom yum soup...mmm it was all quite good...but since it was busy...we didn't get our food for a while. David kept saying sorry...we didn't mind haha but he felt bad I think and charged us $35 for the whole dinner...crazy discount! but thankyouuuuu!
Friday...didn't do much...went to dorky's to watch why why love...it's getting exciting!
Thursday...I went to the city to look for a present...I wasn't very successful. It was pretty boring as well, so I didn't stay too long. Had sushi by myself at jaws hahaha...I'm a loner! At night, went to garbos with dorky...bought a new bag...pretty simple and black...but I likey =) Felt a bit light headed too, so I decided to eat a roast pork dinner for energy...didn't really help. dorky thought it might've been withdrawal from the painkillers...argh. I was still a little puffy =( Met up with the girls, chucky and wei for bbt. Had a good time catching up...gossip gossip ahaha had a warm horlicks...pretty good.
Wednesday...I was supposed to go to work, but my face was still a bit puffy, so no way was I going to face customers hehe. At night, my parents, dorky and me went to watch Cirque Du Soleil, Dralion!!! I was so excited and I could tell my mum was too…so excited that she forgot to bring her glasses with her. So silly…she was forced to watch the whole performance in her sunglasses! Poor mum…she seemed so upset at herself =( But oh well…we got free jellybeans, I collected 4 packs because no one wanted any =P yom! The show itself was really good, but I think that I liked Varekai a little better…don’t know why. The Dralion looked a bit freaky to me…too fluffy! There were a lot of acts…ball juggling, bodies through hoops, flexible bodies, trampolines, skipping ropes, trapeze acts and lots more…very overwhelming! The night was good…thankyou dorky for organising everything =P
