Another week has passed by and now it's already April. I have been pretty happy this week, I'm feeling a lot more independent and yes, it has got everything to do with my parents not being here =P I am actually quite loving it, especially the cooking part. They haven't completely neglected me though, they have called me a few times..my mum letting me know where she is and the things she has bought me...yey presents! I think they feel guilty for leaving the house for me to look after. Oh well...they shouldn't feel guilty at all! Another 3 weeks to go...
So the week that has been goes a bit like this...
On Tuesday had work and blah. At night, dorky and me created yet another awesome meal. We cooked spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread, salad and turkey schnitzels. Then we went to Gelares for dessert...he taught me how to play table soccer with a 20c coin...it's quite fun, but I really don't have the skills to play =( I will practise for sure.
Wednesday, I had the day off from work so I wandered off to the city by myself. I thought that it would be nice to treat myself to some shopping...I only bought leggings =( The city had some sort of parade going on though the mall...maybe for April Fool's Day? There were police officers escorting them and they were throwing around confetti...yey! It was quite fun to watch actually...crazy costumes...kind of reminded me of the madi gras hehe. On the way home I bumped into Jennie at the train station and then a few moments later I bumped into the other Jenny...hahah I was Jennified =P Jennie then took me home...thankyou so much hehe! I think it's the second time you've given me a ride now =D Hehe at night, dorky and me went to the Tea Cafe, really we did this time. We ordered claypot rice and baked spaghetti..it was good and tasted homely as usual...cooo and we got curried fishballs too...reminds me so much of Singapore..can't wait to head back in July! There is also a rumour that we might be going to Macau too...ooo...but must not get my hopes up yet =P
On Thursday, had work...busy as hell. But luckily time didn't go slowly, so I was out of there by 2:30. I came home and tried to nap without any success..I ended up reading New Moon instead =D At night, we went shopping...didn't buy much at all...it was just a quick bruise =P
Friday...I woke up feeling sick, head was all congested, I was cold and feeling like I should be in bed, so I called in sick and read my book. Headache got worse so I ended up taking some medication and then rested...it really did the trick...I also ended up sweeping, mopping, washing clothes and cleaning toilets because I couldn't help it...sigh. At night, bf picked me up and we went to his friend's, Harry's birthday house party. I saw Eugene there...I was so happy, a familiar face...too bad he only stayed for half an hour then escaped. There was some pretty good food there...I loved the prawn toast...yummm! We stayed indoors most of the time because outside was crowded with the scarier drunken guys...but the BBQ food was out there, haha. We watched the drunkards play drinking games...it was quite entertaining. I also felt slightly uncomfortable when a certain someone walked in...but I guess I felt alright..I remembered something a friend told me and it kept me smiling...no dramas =P The people at the party were all from one tight knit group so i felt like a bit of an intruder...luckily most of the girls there were really nice and talked to me, especially Linda...she was lovely. Maybe after more meetings I'll feel more comfortable...still can't believe I'm the youngest there though. Thankyou for staying with me dorky ahah...I enjoyed it =D
Saturday...after he finished work, he bought takeaway Nandos and Nasi Lemak for me to eat..yummmm. We ate until we were super bloated...so we watched some TV while our food was being digested. We watched some funny Taiwanese game shows....awesome stuff. Afterwards, we decided to go out for dinner even though we were still satisfied with lunch, but we really couldn't decide what to eat...we headed to Kanta first, but it seemed like it was really busy inside so we ate at a Viet place in the city....pho pho I love pho! After eating we went to Carousel to watch Aliens Vs. Monsters in 3D!!!! It was so cooool and really funny too. I loved it ahaha...watching it in 3D made it even better, the detail they put into the animation was wow. My new favourite pixar/animation is now Finding Nemo, Alien Vs Monsters and Madagascar =D Overall I had a really happy day...spending it with my silly dorky =)
Sundaaaaay...I having a relaxing day at home while dorky plays indoor soccer. I didn't feel like going...guess I don't feel like being the only girl again!
Speaking of girls...I missed the bbt get together this week =( I want to meet up! hahaha...so I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again for steamboat...an addition of 2 have been invited, so things should be interesting!...hopefully I can see a few friends sooner though...may call some people up for meals =DD
