Continuation from last entry...
Bf and me had randomly decided to eat at Miss Mauds. We used to always walk past it and watch people eat there everytime we went to the Korean restaurant nearby...we said that we'd eat there one day and that day came true on Saturday night. We were both super excited, me a little less excited because I was sick...grrr =( My last Miss Mauds experience was such a great memory...I was really young and all I could remember was drinking pumpkin soup for the first time...it's been my favourite soup since then! Anyway, the first thing we did was drink soup...pumpkin(hehe) and their beef stock pot, which was equally as nice! They also had a great range of cold meats, alot that I had never seen or tasted before...some were nice, some were strange. There was also lots of seafood salads, oysters, yabbies, prawns and mussels! Yum yum! Hot foods included roast meats, the pork was especially nice, the nicest I've ever had..the meat was sooooo tender! They also had chilli mussels, rice, curry, fried noodles and roast vegetables. Then they had Miss Mauds cakes and desserts...super yum! The atmosphere was really nice too, with live music playing and it was also entertaining watching all the waiters in their funny uniform. We were so bloated afterwards! The girls called us to karaoke that night too i think, but I had to say no because I needed to recover from my cold...I remember last time I had a cold and I was at karaoke...I was almost lying down on the couch, shivering with a super drippy nose...argh! Sorry girls..next time I'll be there! So instead, I went home and slept =)
Sunday, bf had told me about a really good dimsum place that was opened a few years ago called, Hoi's Kitchen...apparently it was the best dimsum place in Perth at the time and had closed down due to leasing issues...he said that they had reopened someplace else and was renamed DimSim Cafe...right next to Icey Ice! It got me craving dimsum so we decided to go and try it out. There were so many people waiting for tables...we had to wait for around an hour! It was all good though...we ordered heaps and everything we ate ended up being really good...go eat there! The squid is the best! We also saw Henry there and I also saw another girl that I knew there too..small world! After we ate until we were bloated, we decided to digest a little by exploring the mall. Bf ended up buying a set top box and a cable for his TV. We spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing a bit. The girls organised bbt..we decided to go, but bf left early. Together, with chamr...we had a yummy and very moist cheese cake with our teas...had a warm horlicks...mm!
Monday...I spent the morning not doing much at all until Ama messaged me about going to Freo for lunch with Jas...hehe yay! We followed Jas to uni and then went to Dome to chill out a bit. We didn't eat much for once! I was dropped off home to relax a little bit before I was picked up again by Wei2 and the gang for dinner at Nishi! I think around about 10 of use showed up...dorky didn't go because he had dinner at home =( I ordered a beef teppan yaki? which came last, even though I ordered first! in the end it only tasted alright, the meat was very chewy...it was like I was eating a steak really...but the garlic was really good! Not too strong. We all shared a salmon sashimi, which was really good, very very fresh! After finishing our meals, wei2, jas and me combined our leftover food and created a new experimental dish...which was surprisingly good! Almost better than my original one haha. Yum! Once we had really finished, Jas and me got takeaway bbt and then I was dropped home...thanks Wei! I said goodbye to Charm because he was leaving for Sydney and I also said bye to Jas because I didn't know if I'd see her before she left for Singapore to see Michael! At 9:30 that night, Jas came over to kill time before she went and picked her her mum from the airport..hehe surprise visit! We watched Twilight on my lappy...that silly girl sat on my exercise ball throughout the whole movie...so uncomfortable! Hehe..chicken left at 12:30 I think..I hope that you have a very safe flight and enjoyable time with your Michael!! I went to sleep soon after and dreamt of Edward =P
Tuesday, I had work...it wasn't quiet or busy, quite a slack day actually. I was serving at takeaway and I got to know another girl who worked Commonwealth bank. We were bitching about how llittle chips my boss and another aunty serve customers..very stingy people they are. I hate getting complaints from customers and my boss always makes me deal with them...even when I don't cause any problems...it's my boss I tell you..she gets on my nerves. Grr....anyhoo..I was let off work early so I grocery shopped...I bought items to cook for dinner yay! Bf came over and brought over some bubbly and apple cider...yom! I cooked honey soy and garlic drumsticks, with roast vegetables, a pasta toss, skinless sausages and also heated up my tomato soup from the day before. Dorky helped with the cooking..thanks hunhun! We had a really good and satisfying meal...it was really yum! So glad everything turned out OK! For dessert we had passionfruit jelly and champagne while we watched the second Harold and Kumar movie..the movie was very stupid ahaha! My mum also called me, she just came back from China and she caught the flu...hope she gets better! She's in Malaysia now...coming back on Sunday night! Argh! Oh well...no more cleaning toilets =P
I guess that's it for now...just wondering where we should eat tomorrow night...decisions, decisions! 2 years with my dorky...wow...not bad! hehe lub u more than ever!!!!!
