RAWR!!!
Let's get down to it...
On Sunday, dorky wanted to have lunch, so I was picked up and while in the car we got into a bit of an argument, I won't get into the details, but we both acted stupidly. Taurus was packed so we went to Bullcreek Hawkers, which was closed...adding to the tension that already existed. In the end we went to Ipoh...where we ate in silence! I grr-ed at him because he grr-ed at me first...not sure why I was so feisty that day...buuuuut we sorted things out when we were both calm =) luv u!
Monday..dorky had a day off so we made the most of it and went to the city for a bit of winter shopping. I heard some of the purchases a friend made earlier in the week, so that made me want to buy too =( So bad...so easily influenced. Anyway...first we tried looking for lunch...Mr Samuari was closed, Taka's was too busy, the other Taka's was too far...soooo we ended upstairs at the level 3 foodcourt where I got my never-fail pork roll and chips...so healthy, I know. We then shopped for my needs OK...my wants! hehe...got some nice winter stuff, but still need more! Always need more =P We went back to dorky's for a bit of chilling out and his mummy gave me a grapefruit!
Tuesday...I had work as usual. It was fairly OK...quite easy actually...I'm starting to enjoy things again, yey! At night, dorky and me went out for coffee (cold season = warm food and drinks) and I had a potato and leek soup from Dome and it was pretty good! After coffee we walked across the road to eat waffles haha...we suck. The wait was pretty long and it wasn't even that busy, so I'm not sure what the workers were doing. We got home really early for once, so we decided to chat for a while in the car. Dorky told me about some of his gangster days and how he met friends...it was really interesting! His life makes my life seem very very very boring and uneventful! We talked for over an hour before I went inside..
Wednesday...workies yet again! I seem to work a fair bit and I realised...I don't save much at all. Where does all my money go??? An investigation needs to be had i think. Anyway..work...was quiet but terrible for me...my nose kept running for the entire 4 hours, it was so uncomfortable, even after I took some cold and flu tablets. It got so bad that the clear and watery snot just exited my nose and onto the floor...oops. I think I should've gone home. When I did go home, I just napped with tissues stuck up my nostrils. What a waste of a day...and we didn't even go to the gym =(
Thursday...I went to work, but did think about calling in sick. Had a slight headache but that went away as soon as I started. It was steady today and I guess eventful? Two health inspectors came into our workplace...oooo they were scary looking...2 ultra tall men with black clipboards! I smiled at them, the younger guy smiled back but the old guy hesitated and only managed to twitch his lip in response...cheh! Oh well, I tried. I heard from my boss, after they left that the old guy was very rude and harsh..eep. The things his said wasn't good, so I hope that things turn out OK for my boss! After work, dorky and me went to Carousel to buy a present for Christine..I had almost forgotten it was her birthday! We tossed up between a necklace/scarf or perfume...we chose perfume! We also saw puppies...so cute! And at the very last minute, we crossed the whole shopping centre to buy groceries before the whole place closed. I have never walked that fast through Carousel before..my feet hurt =(
On Friday...day off! And I spent it shopping at Target with my mum. She wanted to buy bed sheets and other homely things...I got a nice headache walking around in a circle...but I got to push the trolley around yey =D My mum bought me a spinach roll for my efforts and undies hehehe =) At night, dorky and me were off to Freo for dinner at Zapata's Mexican restaurant. OMG the jalapeno nachos there are so good! The atmosphere there is pretty nice...think it was designed for functions...it's not bad at all. I had a beef fajita and dork had a bbq prawn thing...he can never stay away from prawn! It was a nice dinner and a good change. Then dorky went to the ATM to withdrawl some money, but the machine ate his card and he scared everyone else from using it hahah..go bebe go! We then went to Benny's bar and cafe and met up with Christine, Sarah etc...for Christine's 22nd birthday! The place tranformed from a cafe to a hip and happening bar with live music..nice! We gave her the present and moments later she had dropped it and actually broke the perfume bottle!! Hahaha, it's so typical of her to do that...I just hope it didn't ruin her night! Vic and me smelt of lovely Juicy Couture for the rest of the night =D
Todaaaaay...I had to visit the toilet 3 times..must've been the nachos...but it was worth it!!! I just came back from the gym as well...we couldn't work out so much this time, got really tired after 35 minutes =( I think it was because we didn't gym at all in the week. Boo, next week we shall be better!
Anyway, have to shower now...Lady Gaga and Pussycat Dolls tonight...whoopwhoop!!

Weeeeee...another week has passed and what an eventful one it was...particularly the stormy weather...i love it! The snuggling in bed, all the hearty foods to eat like soups, stews and curries, and also sleeping to the sound of rain...so nice. Anyway...besides the weather...I did stuff too...
On Monday...I can't say I really remember what i did...so yes..Monday didn't exist!
On Tuesday, I had workies as usual. It was a good day i remember, but nothing out of the ordinary happened...oh Mel came in to work after uni and she has braces! So cute..she said they were embarrassing but I didn't even notice them until she pointed them out =P I'm finding alot of people are getting braces now at an older age...I wonder why that is...
Wednesday, I skipped work to accompany my mum to get a mammogram at the breast screening of WA in Fremantle. She was so nervous because it was her time...I guess she decided to go because she had recently gotten a pain in her right breast so she freaked out. Hope the results turn out to be OK. After the screening, we walked to Cicerellos and had fish and chips...hooray! We ate until we were bloated...such yummy food and the best thing was there weren't too many people around so we got to sit beside the water, very nice...shame the water was polluted with rubbish though =( After we ate, my mum bought gelatos for us both...mmm pistachio and baci! She must've really been in a good mood, or just relieved the screening was done. Afterwards when we got home, my mum got a phonecall from Wei's mum...very sad news...our family friend of a very long time, uncle Tony had passed away from a heart attack at only 58 years of age =( I felt my childhood flood back into my memory when I heard. Uncle Tony and his family have known mine since I born and we used to have Sunday School at his farm...I spent most of my childhood there playing on there and I still remember the cow skin rug they had. Uncle Tony was a great man and was the most dedicated father, husband and friend...how do I know this? you only have to see how happy his children and wife are to know that they have the happiest life. The saddest thing I heard was that his son had actually revived him when he fainted to the floor and they thought everything was going to be fine, but Uncle Tony just whispered, "Darling, I'm sorry" then he was gone...such shock and sadness, but we all know that he has gone to a better place...RIP uncle Tony.
Thursday...I had work again and the storm really showed its true colours! All of us just kept staring outside at the wind and rain..amazing stuff. I kept feeling sorry for the cleaner at the shopping centre though..everytime the auto doors opened, a whole lot of leaves would blow inside...so she would have to keep sweeping them, luckily the security guy came to help. I stayed at work for an extra half hour..I don't know why though...I didn't do anything but eat! At night...we did our usual round at Garbos...I had the mission of finding a book to read and dorky needed a belt! We saw Christina and Heston there...they're still together looking all happy and blur...maybe they really are a good match afterall...We also had dinner...we tried the soup scoop from muffin break. I had a pumpkin soup, which was poured into a hard bread roll..cute concept but bloody hard to devour. I got soup all over my fingers from trying the rip the bread carefully so that no soup would spill out...after eating it for a while I found a HAIR in my soup that didn't belong to me...so gross. I don't think I will be getting that again. At 8pm we headed off to utopia for our last gathering with Wei for a while...lucky him..jetting off to Malaysia for 5 weeks...he deserves the holiday though, so I hope he has a really great time! We'll all miss his funny laugh for a while I'm sure =P Bbt was good as usual...a bit cold though, but we soon made our way to the comfy seats =) I don't think we really gossiped as much this gathering...we were having more normal conversations I think...weird.
On Friday...I made some potato and bacon soup, because I wasn't satisfied with that hairy pumpkin one! Grr! These days when I want opinion on whether my cooking tastes alright or not I ask my mum and brother...they are brutally honest when it comes to feedback haha. But I seemed to have gotten pretty good reviews so yey! I stored some soup away for dorky too =) I know he likes soup....I heated it up before he came over and my brother told me that it was weird seeing me be so nice and caring...my mum shut him up and told him that he wouldn't understand because he had no gf...so ha! Then he said it was sweet..what a weird comment. In the evening, dorky and I went to Nandos!! It was really tasty today, especially the spicy rice, which wasn't hard, but soft and fluffy! As we ate, in front of us was this baby girl, who was probably one years old? She was Korean or Chinese, I'm not sure, but she was really cute and she kept waving at us and playing peek-a-boo. I have never seen such a friendly baby with that long of an attention span. Anyway we played until she and her dad had to leave...we saw her go outside and wait for a car to pick them up...we were eating beside the full length window and she saw us and ran away from her dad up to the window and was giving us the biggest and cutest smile (smile with no eyes type) and kept waving and laughing...omg so cute! She did that twice ahaha...such a funny girl...her dad was laughing too. After that we went and watched Night at the Museum 2. It was really funny and I thought a pretty good sequel to the first...maybe even better than the original! The only bad thing about that movie wasn't the movie itself, but the people watching it...omg the Asian people sitting in front of us had this really strong Asian smell of mothballs! You know that smell I'm talking about right? And also the kids sitting next to me kept talking and asking what was happening and kept blowing on their lollipop whistles...grrr! Oh and our favourite seats were taken too =( So...good thing the movie made up for everything haha...oh well it was a fun night =P
Now it is Saturday...it's not very stormy at the moment, but you never know...things might pick up later in the day...I want to see more wind blowing! Since nothing is happening at the moment I should share some random things...I have started playing the game Happy Farms, introduced to me by Ama...I keep helping everyone out with their weeds and worms. I think somebody has been sabotaging each others farms haha. It's quite cute seeing the plants grow, but it takes too long for that to happen. I'm still playing Restaurant City too...I think the addictiveness of it is kind of wearing off for me, but I still play because they're always adding new things to the game...now you can purchase ingredients! Wow wow wow!
Ooh! I also started playing the ps3 game, littlebig planet! It is so cute! I love my little sackboy...it's an amazing game..you create your own world and levels for other people to play..everything about it so creative and allows you to really use your imagination. It takes a while to play though...hmm I think I'm starting to appreciate the entertainment of games...they are fun =D Gardening mama on the DS is my other new favourite game too...woo!
Gossip Girl, 90210 and How I Met Your Mother are all ending their seasons...boohoo! I guess I still need to finish off Dexter...must hunt for more TV shows!!
Gymming later this arvo..yay! I want a treadmill...must convince my mum that it's useful =)))
Anyway...rather hungry now so I guess that's it for now...must feed evy! =P

I'm cold!! I slept in until 10 this morning...my bed felt so snuggly...ah for once in my life I can say that I love Mondays =) Don't worry though...I think I will start hating them in the very near future...enjoy it while I can, I say.
Anyway..Thursday...what happened? I had work, which was pretty good. We had enough staff on and it wasn't very busy..well not as terrible as last week's shift. It was really pleasant and I had a lovely chat with Hayley, she's just gorgeous =) In the evening dorky and I went to Carousel for our usual shopping adventure...we ate at Maya Masala, but we did not force ourselves to finish the food...we shared a meat samosa instead, and it was pretty good! We browsed and ended up in JB HiFi, where we bumped into dorky's friend, Joseph...ha! I remembered his name and face..what an accomplishment for me! Anyway...this Joseph sent panic through dorky because he informed us that the last day of the sale for the match tickets...that is the Liverpool match in Singapore...was Friday (the next day)..uh oh! We hadn't even searched for the tickets yet and we had already booked flights and hotels...it would be very bad if we went there without watching the game...the trip would be somewhat miserable! So he rushed home to research and I have to admit that night...I overreacted a bit..blergh to me!
Friday...I wasn't in a very happy mood during the day due to the events of Thursday night...eventually I got over it, apology accepted and all is forgiven =) After that...we decided to skip gym for the day and went and watched Angels and Demons at Garbos...the cinema was packed and we had to sit in the second row from the front...my neck hurt just looking up for 2 and a half hours. We also saw Duncan there with one other person hehe. OK the movie, to be honest..after reading the book, didn't really didn't impress me at all. They made so many changes to the story that I kind of felt like it had turned into something else completely different. If I hadn't have read the book, then I guess the movie would have been just alright...moral of the story is..books are much better than the movie!! I think that I had a lovely sleep that night...
Saturday...I went to vote YES for daylight savings...I actually like it because it just feels like you can get so much more done in one day...I agree that they should shorten it to just 2 months though, because it does get very dark towards the end of the period. But alas, the majority of WA voted NO, so goodbye longer days =( Oh well...doesn't seem like Perth likes change at all...not even extended shopping hours! We are stuck behind times...sigh. No wonder so many people like to escape this city hoho. Bleh anyway, after I voted and dorky didn't, because he's not a registered voter (tsktsk), we went and made up for our gym session that we skipped. It was really good...there was no one except us, so we tried out some new equipment. I then went home and dorky went to play soccer...crazy boy. We met up again at night to eat at Ipoh Gardens...yummy mai fun soup and laksa for him as well as the crispy chicken and herbal tea! Yum! Again...we didn't force ourselves to finish the food..we were satisfied and not bloated...I think we are doing good =) After dindin we caught the movie Ghost of Girlfriends Past. It was quite funny and easy to watch...a very typical romantic comedy..it wasn't bad and plus we had much better seats than in Angels and Demons..so thumbs up to that!
On Sunday...dorky and me..the slightly less piggies we are, went and had lunch at that Penang restaurant in Northbridge..you know the blue one? Haha yea anyway...I tried the prawn noodles soup there...it was good! Tasted almost like my mum's except that they added fried pork fat/lard, which gave the dish more flavour. Dorky had a seafood laksa again! The ice lemon teas are good there too! After lunch we walked and browsed the mall. I saw boots that I liked and bags that i liked...but talked myself out of those purchases...trying to save here! haha. In the end he just bought a book and I got nothing! We walked down to IceyIce after and tried their oreo choc flavour...it was really nice! I got a lot of biscuit stuck in my teeth though...I looked so attractive. I went home afterwards and had dinner with my family like a good girl and played games on
www.omgpop.com join people! It's fun and addictive!
Guess that is all...another week ahead...I wonder what wonderful events will unfold this time round...
Ciao!

Sunday was mother's day and we didn't do very much to celebrate, which was sad but normal at the same time. I guess my family isn't really big on celebrations. I ended up just hanging with dorky..happy dorky day? It was a relaxing to say the least =)
Monday, dorky took the day off from work due to a cold and needed to see a doctor for an MC..so I took the chance to go with him to get my cervical cancer shot. Boy did I feel nervous..I hadn't gotten a vaccination in such a long time..I think since maybe highschool...or earlier than that primary school! Anyway before the doctors we had some time to kill so we went to Ipoh gardens, which was closed! So we had to settle for Lee Palace lunch buffet at $10 per person. Not a bad price, but the food was average...it reminded me of party food. It wasn't the greatest lunch, but it filled us up good! Then off we went to see Dr Bala-something or rather...he's always really easy going and funny, which is good...makes you feel quite comfortable I guess. The injection was done really fast..I felt the liquid ooze into my blood, such an unpleasant feeling, but I got a bandaid after for being brave...so worth it. After the jab we went back to my place so that I could get changed for the gym...yes we are gymming again..trying hard to use up the remainder of our membership. We plan to gym 3 times a week and use up the sessions before we go to Singapore...hopefully we can do it! Then after that...we'll probably join a different gym...or I should go get myself a treadmill! Speaking of Singapore, the tickets have been booked for July 18th! (I don't know if I blogged about it already, but oh well) Wahoo! The Great Singapore Sale here we come! I'm so excited! Anyway...before we actually gymmed, Rachael came over to drop me a belated birthday present! Some pretty little things from Japan, a card and also the yummiest chocolate peanut butter brownie! YUM! Thankyou heaps Rach =D I ate a piece then went and gym med. It was a good session, we realised that they brought in new treadmills, which had fans on them, so nice! I ended up having an early night...work the next day =(
Tuesday...had work. It was a pretty good day though, not like the horribleness of last week. It was steady, full of nice customers and everything just flowed really well. I think it was because Jamaica Blue reopened so business dropped for us..I'm not complaining about it...I love it! Dorky picked me up from work and we browsed Target and Woolies, where I bumped into my mum! We chatted to her...why are you here, how come you never told me you were coming? was what I asked. Then we lost each other until we reached home...there she was again...gosh small world. For some reason, dorky and me were super duper hungry, so we decided to go out for dinner. After cutting down on a lot of options like teacafe, pubgrub, korean, hana bbq, nandos etc..we decided to have steamboat at Dragon Seafood! Exciting!! We tried the curry soup, which was alright as well as our beloved tomyum (it's still the best!). We ate quite a lot for 2, but it's OK, the food didn't fatten our bodies too much..it was all soup, lean meats, seafood and vegetables! I did get a funny churning feeling in my stomach afterwards though...but it was nothing! We were satisfied! We were way too full to even have bbt...gasp gasp gasp!
Today is now Wednesday and I decided to work, for some extra cash. Just like yesterday..it was not very busy at all! Hooray! I made no mistakes at all =) Jen, Jas and Eva also came by for lunch, they ordered a lot of chicken, chips and soup. I ended up giving them a discount of around $10-$15 because my boss was lurking around and I couldn't do much so sorry guys if the bill was a bit pricey! I gave them free drinks though when my boss left! Now here I am at home waiting for my gym buddy to finish work so we can go work out!
I'm trying to save money for my holiday at the moment...so far I guess that I am doing OK, but I know that I will end up going on a winter shopping spree soon...winter clothes are the best! So I'm hoping that I can control myself...I have 9 more weeks to save.
Also, with our gymming goal put in place, I have also put in another goal...an eating habit goal...whenever we eat out, we are not to overeat (meaning no entrees or desserts) every little change does count in the end and that way we will save too! I'm trying to eat more less fattening foods now too like soups over fried or stir fried foods and fish over meat, tomato based pastas instead of creamy ones...more vegetables too! I'm staying away from fried food...I think we can save that for Singapore. I'm going to try m best to change the eating habits...wish me luck.
Guess that is it for nowwww...work again tomorrow, lets hope Jamaica Blue does it stuff and steal the customers from us! hohoho!

Friday...was quite a quiet day, I didn't have work so I decided to not be lazy and went to the city myself. I was going to ask my mum to come with me, but she's started a new job at Aunty Ina's lunch bar, which is good for her I guess..she can learn to make us more western foods...yum! Anyway the city! It was really busy and I kept having to dodge people..felt kind of invisible! After 30 minutes of walking I started feeling lazy, but I still had to buy my mum a mother's day present...so I kept looking, but gave up after a while...I guess I only like going to the city by myself if the city is quiet! I caught the train back, where I bumped into Ching. We caught up a bit...I learnt that her bitchy sister was coming back to Perth to live again...noooo, I hopre I don't see her at work. We also just talked about jobs and studying..she seems very scared of Law school. I stopped at Bullcreek Shopping centre and ended up getting my mum a gift voucher from susanne graes...hope she likes it!
At night...dorky informed me that he was going to be home really late because of work..poor bebe. When he got home, he said that his brother had locked his keys in his car and needed to pass him the spare keys. So it seemed like I had a night to myself..my parents had gone out to some singing contest! I spent it online chatting and playing RC!...it made me really tired. Then later in the night I heard dorky's car outside my house and there he was at my door with a Wii Fit! All I said to him was, "Why are you here?" in a sleepy voice haha...sorry I was blur! It was an early birthday gift...and he lied about his brother! Grrr! He hung out with me and played Wii until midnight =) Thankyou lovely Dorky for the surprise.
Saturday...my birthday!! I woke up not feeling any different at all...from here on, getting older is sucky...gone are the fun teenage years =( Oh well! I was bombarded with facebooks messages and SMS's so thanks everyone for the greetings..made me feel very special =) My mum was making roast pork and gravy rolls with roasted vegetables..how odd! While I was in my room, I could hear her writing in a birthday card for me...hahah she's so cute, when she writes, she seems to talk out loud...her English is so funny..in the card she wrote, "Dear Evelyn. Happy Birthday. 22 Hope! you goodluck all years from mum". I was laughing so hard at her, I think she was embarrassed..aww but thankyou mum! Then dorky came over with a card, so sweet and we had the roast pork for lunch...then I cut the cake my family got me...yumyum pecan mocha cake! Dorky then took me to Heathcote for a coffee and strolled around the park...it was fun...one day we are going to go jogging there! Heathcote brought back alot of memories...it reminded me of all the good times we had there when we first met...hahah skateboarding days. I always remember the days when hung out with V, V, V and C...but so much has changed since then, it's quite unbelievable really. I went home and showered and got ready for dinner.
At 7pm, dorky and me arrived at Oliver's and I was so hoping they would seat us inside, which they did! Yey! Once I sat down, for some reason I started to feel sick..as in having a cold kind of sick..I was sneezing so badly, eyes were puffy and watering as well...argh! I was so blur when people started to arrive...we ordered drinks our entrees and mains...a pina colada for me, 2 pizzas, barramundi, fench fries and a vegetable salad too! I hope everyone enjoyed what they ordered and that it was filling enough =P The only bad thing I guess was that the food came out really late and I could see some people getting hungrier and hungrier by the minute...I don't think I enjoyed the service very much, but I didn't let that get me down! They brought out the cake (thanks btw to Charles and Chenelle!) and oh no spot light was on me...I hate that feeling! I never know how to react..it's too overwhelming. Everyone started singing argh! Then I cut the cake with the only thing available near me, a butter knife! Then they took the cake away. Our champagne came..the timing as a bit odd...I thought they were going to bring it out before the cake, but oh well! We toasted and ate yummy greentea cake! Soon Rach, John, Charles and Chenelle left. The rest of us walked to Formosa...
Jen, me and dorky!
2 of the nottiest girls i know
We turned up and only 2 of us ordered drinks haha oops. We pushed their tables together as well...I bet they were annoyed at us, but I didn't seem to care, my cold had finally stopped so I was starting to enjoy myself more. WeiWei some how fell asleep on the chair, so the trusty camera came out and we started posing next to his sleeping body...we were so quiet and sneaky about it too! On more attempts on taking photos of him, I bumped the chair that he was sleeping on really hard...alot of tumbling and noise came out from us, he kept on sleeping though...bet the people around us weren't too happy with our loudness haha! When wei finally woke up, he had so much gas stored up inside him that he released it all on Jasmine...poor chickeeee! LOL! It was a fun end to the night..we all left before 12am! See we we're getting older now =(
Weiwei passed out...us being cool
weiwe just farted
Dorky and me!
I just want to say now, thankyou, each and every one of you for making my birthday such a special one! You are all "special" people in my life that never fail to make me laugh. I love you all to teeny weeny little pieces! I really really hope that you enjoyed the night as much as I did...something different for us hey? =P Thankyou, also for the really great present! They are so cute! Huggies to u all!!!
Also, also, also an extra big hug to my chickee friend for the message u posted up on your blog...it was very sweet =) I really treasure you as a friend...not in the weird way S does though...haha. Without you (and everyone) I wouldn't be my real self...so thankyou for being so genuine and caring =)
And and and thankyou amanana for everything too...such a sweet and caring friend hehehe! Where would I be without our gossips and weird conversations! Friends always =)
Also, today is Mother's Day!!! Hope that my mum had a really nice day, even though she was out with friends in the city. I hope that she liked the present i set out for her...dorky brought a watermelon, so i included that as her gift along with the gift voucher and lindt chocolates! Muahs love you mum!!

OMG evy....STOP EATING SO MUCH, YOU SLOBBY PIG!! stopppppppppppppppp!!!
Arghhh...I love food, but it can be my worst enemy sometimes. Just came back from the Galleria. Had Baci ice cream, then shared a packet of pork crackle, had dinner at Saigon and ordered an avocado milkshake...now I feel like sleeping. This isn't the first time that this has happened either...grrr! Then again...I can never be angry at food...it's just so yum =) What do I do? I'm too lazy to exercise, especially if it requires me to step out of the house...I just want to sleeeeeeep and eat some more. It's a shame that I grow wider rather than taller...if only fat could be stretched upwards....I'd be so tall be now. Yes I know this is a stupid blog, but I just feel like abusing myself...I have lots of frustration from work built up inside me...
Speaking of work...it was the CRAPPPPPPPPPPPIEST day ever. A group of 25 people had reserved seats today, but didn't show up...instead, there was a constant mad flow of customers coming in and out of the diner...I took orders for 4 hours straight. I talked until my throat went dry 5 times. I literally talked non stop for 4 hours and all I got to eat was 3 wedges =( Gosh I was hungry. Probably explains the pigout just now. My boss called me up afterwards when I got home and asked if I was angry at her...lol! My face must've given me away...yes I was annoyed at her, she kept blaming everyone for her own mistakes and confusing everyone..but she is nice to me I guess, can't stay angry at her for long. I'm still more annoyed at the other aunty though...she's going away for 3 weeks, which I think won't make much difference at all...she hardly does anything anyway!
I'm going to go read about a hot vampire named Edward Cullen now..no more food!!!
Ciao!

I realised that I have been kind of wasting my days away by sitting and doing nothing productive. It's making me lazier, so as a way to overcome this problem, I have decided to make a checklist of things that I have to get done before the end of the day...I keep telling myself that I deserve all this time off, just that I need to make better use of it!
Anyway, I had another food-filled weekend, which started on Saturday afternoon. We ate at Bullcreek Hawkers...had one of my favourites, fish head mai fun soup...I'm in a mai fun phase atm...it's so good! And he had a seafood laksa again. We then went and visited Charlie at his cafe in Belmont, where by surprise we saw Jason working there...for FREE. Charlie told us that he offered to pay him, but he just said that he enjoyed the work...so...strange. But yeah...it was unexpected. Valerie was also working, as was the rest of her family...we had a nice little chat. She asked me if I still kept in contact with Sarah, Christine and Sharlene...sadly not so much anymore, I do miss them at times. I also marvelled at her rose tattoo, it was very pretty. Charlie gave us a swirly sponge vanilla cheesecake, which was so good I finished it all, while dorky sipped on a very well made bitter flatwhite. He sat and chatted with us for quite a while about fights in the shopping centre..sounds entertaining really...maybe I'll go work for him one time. We left before closing time and I was dropped home. Later in the night we went out again to watch the new Wolverine movie at Garbos...we were running late, but luckily for us, not a whole lot of people were out watching a movie on a Saturday night, so we got our favourite seats =D The movie was pretty awesome...I'd watch it again! After the movie, dorky was supposed to meet up with Nathan, but the plans fell through so we ended up at Uncle Billy's devouring a 3 egg congee, chilli pepper chicken and a hokkien mee...wahahaha yummy supper! There were heaps of dodgey looking people around..Northbridge seems to be getting worse...quite scary actually...you will never see me alone there on a Saturday night...I've done it before too...never again though. I came home not too late, such a good girl I am =)
On Sunday...we took a really long time to decide what to do...it's so bad how we are both so indecisive...it's frustrating...I think we are just both really stubborn about certain things as well. But after a while we make happy choices..we ended up at HT! We were supposed to get dorky some nice dress shirts, but I ended up buying clothes instead of him..grr! I think he was trying to avoid buying any..I will get him. Even though HT was super busy..we didn't really find anything really interesting except for a tray of donut balls for $3.50! We left HT for a late lunch at Cambridge food court? I had a yummy mee rebus and because they ran out of assam laksa, dorky had the classic see hum char kway teow! Yumyum. We were so full by the end of it and sleepy...we called it a day and just relaxed at home =D
I've almost finished with reading Angels and Demons...plenty of time before the movie comes out. I feel happy..now I can continue reading Breaking Dawn for the second time! Then it will be Harry potter again =D Books books books...gimme more books! I'm pretty sad...I get excited over reading...even the news online. The news is pretty interesting...kind of puts me in tune with the rest of the world, since I don't really watch actual TV all that much anymore, or listen to the radio...hmm but I think that what I really should be doing is going out and exploring something new...maybe I'll start that tomorrow though =P
Blergh...guess that's it for now! toodles noodle faces!

Woo! It's May and vic's brother has booked the hotel in Singapore...looks like it's really happening again =D It's going to be very hot...he is going to sweat like crazy and I am very sure that I will get sick..from Perth's winter to Singapore's hot weather...better start getting strengthening my immune system...which reminds me...I still need to get all my shots!
We watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas on Tuesday night. It was set during the time of the Holocaust and revolved around an innocent boy, who was the son of a Nazi soldier. Besides the Nazi influence and the horrible things that happened during that time...there was a really heartfelt story of true friendship, innoncence and just child's view of what was right and what was wrong. It was sad to say the least, but I'm glad we chose this movie over Pink Panther 2...made me think about how much time has changed for us all. Wouldn't mind reading the book now hehe.
I also had work twice this week...I really am getting frustrated and annoyed at this one aunty in particular...I swear she does not do any work at all. She comes into work then eats, chats then takes her own sweet time to get on with her job. I always feel like I'm doing the work for her...the good thing about all of this is that everyone is aware that she's pretty lazy...I'm sure my boss will catch on sooner..she'd better!
I got back to finishing the first season of Dexter...it was pretty good..alot different to all those other cop series that I have seen...not too sure if I like the character of Dexter though...I definitely don't like his sister...she's so annoying! Haha...funny what TV makes you feel =P After Dexter...I might start watching Supernatural...hmm I need more TV series to keep me entertained...any good suggestions?
Last night we went shopping at Garbos...we bumped into Adriana and this time I remembered to officially introduced her to Vic and vice versa...I suck at intros. She's started her ATP and it sounds like she has a very supportive teacher and school, so I think she'll do really well...good luck to her! After shopping, we met up for bbt...hooray! We talked about random stuff as usual...like marriage (ama get married first...we want to be bridesmaids haha) Jas also showed us neoprints of her and Michael..so cute! Was a nice catchup =)
Still thinking about what I should do for my birthday..sigh getting older =(
