Howdy peeps! I is back again after another week. I thought I'd blog before Monday...while I still have things fresh in my mind!
OK, Tuesday, had work...enough said. At night, we decided to have dinner at Tea cafe, where I had my favourite spaghetti bolognase - Asian style! Afterwards, it being cheapass Tuesday, we ventured our way to Carousel to watch the Proposal. When we got there, we found that Gelares was packed out and the cinema gates were closed! There had been some kind of chemical spill? something like that in the centre..boohooo! Luckily for us we were very early for the movie and could still make the session at Garbos! Hooray! Garbos was busy! Seemed like everyone had the same idea as us =) We got our wonderful seats, but the people around us were so loud...behind us people kept talking annoyingly and next to me...were a group of people who kept laughing too enthusiastically...very annoying, maybe I'm just a grouch at movies I don't know...it was just particularly bad that night. Anyway..the movie was very funny, I like Ryan Reynolds! Sandra Bullock looks so old now ahah but she's still awesome =D After the movie...we went home?
Wednesday..day off. Was very lazy....almost too lazy to go to the gym...but we pushed ourselves to go. I did my intense incline powerwalk again, followed by some rowing. Dorky was really tired after that so we went home, said our goodbyes and relaxed =) Maybe half an hour later, dorky messaged me for dinner haha. So we went to Taurus! I had already eaten a bit of dinner, so I got some wontons in soup whilst he had his large laksa, with no beansprouts...sillybum. Then..we went home, again =P
Thursday...workies. My boss acted like she didn't really care about working anymore...she talked to the customers the whole time I was there, plus it wasn't very busy at all so we were all so slack and kept eating =D I guess this may be our last time to do what we like...it's going to be sad when realisation sets in I guess. At night, dorky and me broke our no more shopping rule, by going to Garbos. We browsed for around the 1st hour or 2, before I started lookin for a farewell present for my boss..I got her a goodluck bear and card, then we did some grocery shopping! I bought Ang mo style hokkien noodles, they looked funny! We also saw stupid Leon there and dorky shook his hand!!!! How dare he do that. Afterwards, we made a stopover at utopia and saw my enemy Leon again...grrr I so do not like him...everytime I see him I can't help but give him the evils...I wonder if he knows about me? Grr!!!! We sat around for a while then went home =)
Friday...I didn't get a call for work, so I thought I had the day off. At around midday my boss called me and asked why I didn't go to work...haiyo! I never got a message from her...apparently she told me by mouth to take Wednesday off and work Friday..grr! Oh well, I still had a lovely and relaxing time at home. In the arvo, my mum sent me to buy better hokkien noodles, so I dashed out to buy them. My mum cooked mee goreng using 6 packets worth of noodles! I took most it for the work party I was going to...a farewell to my boss =( The party was held at work...it felt so weird because there was no one but us at the shopping centre with streamers and balloons hung everywhere. They had pushed together 9 tables and put moutainloads of food on top...I think there were 20 of us, with food to feed like 40? we all sat around the tables like a family..it was so nice. Then my boss asked us to go around the table and express how we felt at that moment...argh it was so sad. My speech sucked because I didn't know what to say =( Mel and Sally cried, which made me tear up a bit too..oh boohooo!! My boss didn't even cry...she's so strong, I would've cried for ages! It was all very emotional...next week she will be gone. After we had just about eaten a plate each, dorky arrived and I had to open the auto doors for him hehe...that was cool. He slowly ate a plate of food, had a coffee, some cakes and then we were treated too any icecream of our choice...omg, golden gaytimes are so good! After all that we proceeded to taking photos...they set up chairs so it was like we were taking a school photo ahah, I wish I had taken one of those. Then we chatted a little bit before we all had to vacate. Sadness, she was my first boss...who was so understanding, supportive of everything we did, looked after us and protected us...I will miss her heaps and I hope that she will finally relax now and enjoy her time now shes free =)
Anyway, after the party, which ended at 8...dorky and me went to a car audio store, because they had a huge sale on! There weren't many people browsing, but I guess most would come later, since the sale was until midnight. Dorky ended up buying speakers and a deck for a bargain price...wahooo...soon his car will be mega bassy again =D disco disco ooo ooo! The purchase took no time at all so we went back to his place and watched a movie called Catch and release? Weee then our Friday night was gone.
Oh and on this day, Michael Jackson passed away as did Farah Fawcett...so very sad =( I think the whole world got a shock about MJ in particular..funny how people suddenly start caring about a person after they die...
That's it for now I guess, since I haven't really done much this Saturday...btw welcome home weiwei and welcome to charm who both arrived yesterday hehe!
