I haven't been to work at all this week because of the damn flu I have. I swear it is the worst flu that I have ever gotten. I woke up early Sunday or Monday morning with a fever. I hate that feeling of getting chills and then sudden burning. I felt so sick earlier in the week..now I seem to be getting better, thank goodness...I was starting to worry that I had swine flu or something...silly but do you blame me for thinking that with what's going on now? It's scary to think about...for once I'm glad we're in WA, separated from the eastern states by vast deserts! The weird thing about me being sick is that it seems I am the only one that has the flu...the rest of my family, dorky and people that I have been around have not gotten sick yet *touch wood*, I don't want anyone to get sick because of me, but I think it's just weird! Everyone's immune system, a part from mine must rock! Hmm can someone tell me what it means when your snot starts turning green/yellow? Does it mean I'm recovering? Because I slept last night with a blocked nose and woke up to sneezing. I blew my nose and...woah, soooooo much yellow/green thick snot came out, it was awesome...I had to show dorky over webcam ahahaha...he said it looked fluro! I should've take a photo to post up here...damn, I'll try again tomorrow!
As well as being sick, I have been cold...winter is finally here! I've been making and drinking lots of soups, I think I have been influenced by chicken lee!
I think I'm starting to miss seeing people...I haven't seen anybody in such a long time...I feel like it has been weeks, what makes it even worse is that I haven't really spoken to anyone either! Usually around this time of the year, I'm caught up with exams...it really feels weird, to not have the same stress as everyone else...it's like I should be studying or something. I think after everyone's done with their exams, we should all go out someplace...karaoke? Haven't done that in a while hehe! I might try and organise it =) Everyone deserves a celebration =P
Oooh! dorky and me go on holidays in about 6 weeks! Gees this year is going fast. I still remember our last trip like it happened a month ago...the food we ate, where we shopped, where we visited...haha I always seem to end up back in Singapore for holidays...it's good though, it's a convenient place to be. After these holidays...I feel I will need to start relief teaching, or doing part time someplace...it's going to be exciting!
I'm in that mood to blabber..I finished the 2 books I bought already =( It's so sad, I don't think I'm going to buy another book, I need to save money and actually be serious about it...that means all the little things. No more books, boots, bags and all that...I keep telling myself..I DON'T NEED THEM! Play with the things that you already have evy!
