The long weekend is over. It went really fast as usual...sigh back to normal weekdays. Anyway, it was quite eventful and dorky and me managed to get lots done.
Things kicked off on Saturday night, we planned to eat at Bullcreek Hawkers, but noooooo they had to be closed again! I swear the owners have gone on holiday or something. So we decided to go to Ipoh, but no! They were closed too, so we had to settle for Happy Star Noodle house...their fishball noodle soup is quite good =) After dindin, we went to Burswood for the Pussycat Dolls/Lady GaGa concert!!! Once we sat down in our seats, I had a good look at the crowd and the people that dressed up, some of them tried to look like pussycat doll wannabes..wahoo, it's people like that, that entertain us at concerts...people watching is good fun! We had all girls surrounding us where we sat and OMG...they were so annoying! Their comments were so crude! Haha and I thought I was bad. Oh and their high pitched screams every few minutes! I wanted to give them the evil stare.

At around 7:30-8, Lady GaGa came on stage wearing a black leotard with a shiny triangle stuck to it...it looked very interesting! Actually all of her costumes were mega interesting, but mostly weird...especially when all she wore were bubbles. She's eccentric, as most people call her..but very talented, she can sing live! Her piano version of Pokerface was good! And then she stood ontop of the piano stool and bent over to sing, with her hand behind her back...that I wasn't sure of...dorky said it was very hard to sing upside down...so cool? She also spoke to the audience...boy is she a strange person...going on about the year 3009, a monster? Haha...the audience didn't really know how to respond to her...she was very robotic! After she sang a few songs, there was an interval where dorky and me did nothing but spot people and take happy snaps =)

Then the PCD came on! There were only four of them...one had injured her back..so sad! They looked so incomplete! The costumes that they wore were very sparkly =D and what you would expect from the PCD..lots of cleavage! haha. Nicole was the main singer for all the songs...the other girls I think just danced...they don't do much! You always hear about Nicole getting all the attention, but that's because she's the only one that sings!! In person, she looked quite old and her makeup made her look a bit drag queenish, but she's still hot! The 2 favourite songs of the concert was Halo and Jai Ho! I tried to dance to Jai ho but forgot the dance moves =( Needed Jas there! Overall the concert was good, very much aimed at teenie boppers though =P

Afterwards, I messaged peeps to join me and dorky at Concas for chilli mussels, but aww everyone seemed busy, full or tired? So Jas was the only one that came...yey! Haha..I should oragnise it properly next time...don't worry we shall have another Concas night very soon! Maybe when all the exams are over...oh btw GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO HAVE EXAMS!!! At Concas, we ordered a large mussels, with garlic bread...mmm I still love the sauce! And we talked about the concert and showed Jas our PCD book =) We talked until 1am then went home..what a great night...thanku dorky and Jas for coming! xxx
On Sunday, lazy Sunday...I went over to dorky's house and ate rice dumplings with him yumyum. Then we hung out abit, napped then woke up to go watch the movie, Adventureland at Carousel! For some reason that movie only has one session per day...I wonder if it flopped? Anyway the movie had the geeky guy from Juno in it and also the girl from Twilight =D I think everyone thought that the movie might be very similar to SuperBad...and it was in some ways...but Adventureland had more romance in it? and less humour...more drama I think...I liked it! After the movie, dorky and me were a bit peckish, so we went to Northbridge and ate at Saigon..I gassed up his car real good beforehand =D we had a seafood crispy noodle, fresh pork and prawn springrolls, spicy noodle soup, yummm and an avocado milkshake! Northbridge was quite lively that night...I heard there was a rave on, MOS I think. We felt so hip and happening to be out and about so late =D We went home and then slept afterwards though.
Monday! Foundation day!! and HAPPY 22ND BIRTHDAY to CHRISTINE!! I had no idea that is was going to be a long weekend to be honest...so it was a nice surprise. Dorky came over and had my mum's congee..it was very creamy! Yum! Then we made avocado milkshake, because theres a big box full of avocados that we need to use up! Avocado, ice, milk and sugar...blend it all together and you have a nice drink! After we hung out for a bit playing with Coco, we went to dorky's place to play with Tiffany...she's so fat now! and then we watched a movie...he wanted to try out the surround sound for bluray movies...so we ended up watching Transformers...it was so cool, felt like we were at the cinemas again! I went home early because I was still feeling pretty sick from last week...arrrgh...when will I get better? I got home and my mum said she ended up liking the avocado milkshake, so I ended up making a big batch for her to freeze...the rest of the night was stormy, so I lay in bed and rested up =)
A great and relaxing weekend spent with my dorky...mewmew! Can't wait for our next weekend! =D
