WEEHEEEEEE!! I am sooooo happy right now and most of all relieved...I PASSED my driving test =D hooraaaay =DDDD!!! Waking up at 6am this morning was well worth it I think. Thank goodness I passed, I was starting to get worried that I'd never get it...hehe. Thanks to my driving instructor who gave me copious amount of advice and practise in slow manoeuvres...he was good enough to spot my weak spots and drilled me into getting them right. Thank you to aunty for lending me her car to drive around =D and also thank you, big hugs and kisses to my dorky for supporting me, encouraging me through the good and the bad experiences..I love you! Haha it seems like I won an award or something...but really, it feels like I have =D
Anyhooo...lets get back to what I did the days before today...
Hmm Saturday...night. After Dorky had finished his stocktake we had dinner together I think? Well we usually eat out on Saturdays! I just can't remember where this time lol. Then we watched the movie Year One! Hehehehe...it was very funny...Jack Black is hilarious, not the prettiest person in that movie though ahah....he ate poop! EWWW!!
On Sunday, I showed off my driving skills to dorky once again...I'm sure he was very impressed with them =P We stopped by HJ's for some burger, fries and onion ring goodness...gosh we are such fatties. Then off we went to do some more driving...ina middle of a park ama called us to watch Transformers! So off we went to Carousel!! The notti gang consisting of Jas and charmanda had already bought tickets for us...so thankyou guys =D We escaped the huge line, but had to watch a later session in the end. We killed time by enjoying warm drinks at the Coffee Club where we got mistake free drinks hehehe. We might just join their VIP club since we drink there alot, which reminds me...I must give that application form to dorky. We finished our drinks and thought we'd go line up...there was already a line and we were 30 minutes early? Or maybe more...crazzzzzzy. Anyway when we got in, we didn't exactly get the seats that we wanted, but I guess they were good enough! The movie was EPIC! (so many people love using that word now...kind of rubs off on you)...there were so many mouth opening scenes...even some that made our eyes tear up a bit =P The movie was pretty good, maybe the last scene dragged on a bit, but yeah I agree with Jas, the first was probably better =) After that we all went our separate ways...
Monday, I had my day off =)
Tuesday, I had work! My boss wasn't in and it was officially the last day that I was working for her...so sad. My new boss, Kylie was working though...she sure loves to dominate the takeaway section. We all did a huge cleanup of the cafe..everyone didn't seem too pleased by it. Kylie also did the roster for the rest of the week and I got the times that I had requested so hooray! I left without getting my pay..must remember to pop in on Saturday to get it off Rach! At night, I did a bit more driving and got frustrated at myself after a while, couldn't get things right. I sometimes think that I over assess things, make a big deal out of it and because of that I head into failure...I mustn't have such negative thoughts...positivity is the key! Dorky started getting pain in his chest so we took a little rest from driving and sat at home for a while..poor dorky..hope he's all better now though. After he felt a bit better he suggested that I give driving another go so I did. We drove to Fast Eddys for some dinner...ordered a fish burger..omg the fish is massive and dorky got a steak burger yomyom. I think got a message for bbt...but i had to say no...sorry guys...had to sleep early for the test! I didn't know it was mini farewell to Eva! So Eva...I hope you have a wonderful time...stay safe, come back safe =D
OK, so as I said before I woke up this morning at around 6am and got ready for my 7:30 lesson. So early! it was drizzling a bit too...I could feel I was getting really nervous =( My instructor gave me a hour and a half lesson, which I think I did OK in. I got into the licensing centre and held my breath as 6 assessors walked through the door to claim their driving victims!! I saw the lady assessor that had failed me before and I prayed that she wouldn't call my name...thank God she didn't, I also prayed that I wouldn't get the red-haired assessor guy with the perky boobs...his assets would be too much of a distraction, honestly! Instead a pink-cheeked Bill called me...he was so nice to me! He made me park at a quiet shopping carpark, followed by the left something behind exercise, which I hit the curb =( then he asked me to drive down major roads, which were fairly quiet, then park back at the centre...that was it! No reverse parallel or reverse anything! I was very lucky i think =)So thankyou, thankyou, thankyou =D Now all I have to get done is my 25 hour log book...hopefully it'll be finished by the time I go away to sg =) HOORAY!! time to celebrate with a nap i think...
