omg...10 days since my last post....I'm going to struggle with this...
umm umm ummm....screw it! I'll just write about the highlights heheh!
OK...so on Thursday night (last Thursday) after work, dorky took me shopping and Carousel, in search for some new work clothes? But he ended up buying me the Sims 3 as a "congrats on passing your driving test" present...whoopeee!! Thankyou so much =D He bought himself a game too, so there was no jealously between us lol. I quickly installed the game once I got home and started playing...it's pretty good...a lot more realistic than sims and sims2, the only bad thing is...I want more furniture to decorate my houses!I also looked up cheats for the game and they had lots so cheat cheat cheat away I did =D
Ummm, on Saturday after dorky had work, we had lunch at Bullcreek Hawkers, I had a very satisfying chicken rice...yum! Then we went to Supercheap and bought some expensive car detailing stuff and then off to BP we went to wash dorky's purple, "aubergine" car. Weeee it was fun going through the machine, I think I went a bit spastic, but I guess that it is expected. After that we went back to his place and he waxed the car whilst I detailed the inside so it looked lovely and new =) Ahhhh, good work to both of us...but we were so tired! We rested for a little while then had dinner someplace, followed by a movie, since we ended up having no plans =( We watched Ice Age 3 in 3D! omg it was so awesome =D the movie was so cute and funny...not one of those lame sequels at all...very good =)
Then on Sunday, being a super free day for us, with again no plans...we headed to Freo because the weather was soooo nice! We walked through the freo markets, hoping to eat at the ramen place, but it was packed out and very cramped inside, so out we went. We settled on La Porchetta, since dorky had never tried it and had heard me talk about the place a few times. We had a pizza, a spaghetti bolognaise and a chicken and mushroom penne dish...it was all not too bad, also I kept having to use salt and pepper. After lunch, we decided to walk all the way to the Eshed markets to steal a glimpse of the American Navy ship...woot woot we even saw one...but no sign of the Navy people? At the Eshed, we browsed and bought a Dr Pepper, gosh...miss those so much and $3 for a can too =( We also walked up to the tower/observatory thing to look at the view of Freo..it was breezy and lovely...such a perfect day. To top things off, when we headed back to the main part of freo, we had the thick hot chocolate and spanish latte from San Churros again...ah ha! knew that we would visit this gem of a place again =) Muah, thanks for a great day!
Monday I had work! I consider this a highlight, since I never work on Monday...I guess I need that extra bit of cash for my holiday (one more weeeeeeek!!). Annnd that was all I did on Monday i think.
Tuesday, dorky and me were really craving Chinese food...like the really typical type. So for dinner, we drove to Foo Wah...closed =( Then had to settle for Foo Win? or Wee? at Southlands...don't go there though...as we found out...it was very pricey! We ordered a large special fried rice (craving this since jas talked to me about making flai rie T_T) a seafood claypot and also black pepper steak. It was just enough to fill us up...the taste wasn't too bad though. On our way out I think, we spied a traditional English fish and chips shop...omg so going there one day! Then we decided to go to Gelare for a large waffle!!! Yummm, it was pretty packed out as usual...mmm..then home we went.
On Wednesday night, we returned to Southlands for the fish and chips hahah..pigs! We ordered the $35 special...4 pieces of fish, 10 squid rings, 2 spring rolls, chips and also a side of curry sauce and mushy peas...yum!!! When we got out food...we got like 8 pieces of fish...like omg...so much..we thought it was a mistake, but we reasoned that maybe it was 4 pieces cut into halves...but the pieces were still humungous! Dorky wanted to eat the fish and chips outdoors, so we went to Heathcote and ate under the rainclouds...we got really paranoid about it raining on us so we slowly migrated to eating in the car ahaha. The food...was sooooo good! It could become one of our favourite fish and chips stores...the price we thought was definitely worth it...8 pieces of fish!! We felt kind of greased out after eating the food, which we did not finish! So we went to Utopia and ordered teas with no milk in hopes to "flush" out the oil in our bodies hahah.
On Thursday, I had work...only Clare and me were rostered on. It was craaaaaazy busy as well. My boss wasn't in...so the cooks had to take out their own orders whilst I desperately tried to do everything. Amazingly, Clare and I kept very calm and could still laugh about it..insane laughter? The customers were so fantastic about it all..only one person complained (ass). The good thing was..time went super fast! I was so glad when the shift was over. Oh and also, the annoying aunty came in to work for an hour...she hardly helped us at all..I could see Clare was getting really frustrated at her...smiley Clare, turned into a scowling Clare...scary stuff. Anyway, at night, Dorky took me to Taurus and I had a yang tau foo mai fun soup, this time with no beansprouts! Thanks for mentioning it to the girl, dorky =) He had a small rocho mee..so small! Then we had planned to go to the Galleria, but the food came out too slow, so we didn't have time to make it there...we ended up at Garbos. We browsed and picked up a few bits and pieces here and there.
Friday....worrrrrrrk was so busssssssssy! No one had time to do the dishes, so I took over...so many dishes...it really reminds me of the times when I first started at the Percolator...crazy busy times. Kylie called me a Mighty Mouse...so I guess she saw how hard working I was hahaha...payrise please! After work, I washed the greasy smell from my body and got ready to go out to watch the Glory play the Wolves! I was a bit sleepy, but pretty excited too...night out! Dorky picked me up pronto and with Alan..we made it to the Elephant and Wheelbarrow to meet up with Calvin and his friend. They drank their Kilkenny beers and got my ID checked by the bouncer =( I want my license ID already! I got hungry so we went to Altos and bought the best chips...the inside of the chips was so fluffy! Then we walked to the MES...it took us 20 minutes! I wonder why we were so slow? We got inside and I swear...the stadium was full of guys...I felt a bit out of place...but that didn't bother me...there was a game and people to watch! Everyone was telling me that the Glory didn't have a chance against the English team..lol. They were right...the Wolves scored their first goal within the first few minutes...how embarrassing? haha..but after that...not one goal was scored...it was a pretty boring match. I ended up watching people in the second half of the game and got a sausage sizzle, which was cold =( But other than that...I had a great night...there was some atmosphere and my dorky to cuddle up to in the cold weather...even a sprinkle of rain too =) Next game is Wednesdaaaaay whoop!
Yay...I think I managed OK with the memory thing and all..good job Evy =) Lalala, I don't know what's happening with the girls...was there supposed to be something on? I don't know what's happening!! Blergh...oh well...guess Bruno tonight it shall be!
