wow...this week has been one of the the most unproductive weeks that I have ever encountered. I worked once at the cafe and that was it. I learnt that my boss hasn't been making any profit at all, hence why all our shifts have been cut down so dramatically. She even asked her son to work for her...probably for free...so...I don't really know what to do at the moment. I feel more sorry for my boss than annoyed, because I have noticed that she has been super stressed. At work she just stares into nothing and sits by the window watching people. She even told Merry that she was ready to just "throw in the towel". Boohoo....maybe I'll just see what happens in the following week...if things seriously go downhill, then...I shall have to find a new job...I just hope I get more relief jobs.
Speaking of school, the school holidays have started and I am already feeling completely bored...at times like this I wish I was out someplace...I feel like drinking some good wine or a cocktail even...just in that mood to celebrate the long weekend you know...it's infectious seeing all the facebook status's...sigh. But I guess not tonight and not alone anyway! Haha you should just ignore this blog...I'm just rambling because there isn't anything to do =(
doobeedoobeedoo...
My mum and me assembled a filing cabinet this morning. Go us! We were so proud of the finished product..why? because we knew that it was something my dad and brother's would never have completed themselves...they're just...senseless! haha! It was fun...my mum and me had some quality mother and daughter bonding time...the kind which father's and son's are supposed to have hehehe
Also saw the ultimate dog on Thursday night...a jack russel crossed with a beagle, a "Jack regal" hehehe...it was awfully cute =)
There he is!!! A beagle head on the body of a Jack russel. Haha..I ownder why puppies always sleep?
LALALALALAAAAAAA...someone save me!

I'M BORED! and it's only 9:16am on a Tuesday morning. Gosh, I have not had this feeling in such a long time! I'm also feeling a little bit annoyed about work at the cafe, for some reason this week, my boss had rostered me on for Thursday only and put me on call for Monday and Wednesday...I really hope she isn't cutting down my shifts...that would be gay! But what can I really do about...I don't particularly want to stay at the cafe forever...grrr!! Just annoyed.
Well anyway, on Friday night dorky and me went to Sandrinos for dinner in Freo. We both felt like eating a good pasta meal and boy oh boy....Sandrinos did not disappoint us at all. We got a side table straightaway and ordered chilli mussels as an entree and 2 pastas as our mains. Everything was just perfect! We also saw Adriana walk in with a mystery date hehehe! She came over and talked to me a little, but I just wanted know who she was with hahaha...she told me they weren't an item yet...just on their first date, but they were already holding hands when they walked in so hohoho! It was very cute, it reminded me of the days when dorky and me first dated hehe...very new and exciting...now it's still exciting, just...we are old now =( It got us talking about relationships and everything, which was a good chat...felt like old times hehe. We were supposed to meet up at makan/bbt witht he girls, but it was cancelled haha, but dorky and me went to bbt anyway. We took a long and scenic drive past freo, to scarborough/city beach then to myaree...so basically we went from south, to north and back to south again...it was fun! Dorky told me about the good old days where him and his friends used to car cruise...sigh, it's sad how these good times just come to an end...now they only bring fond memories....anyhoo, ordered a passionfruit tea from utopia, which was pretty good and quenched our thirst well and then went home!
On Saturday around lunch time, dorky and me made a quick trip to Bullcreek Hawker for some good old chicken rice and bak kuh teh...yummy rice! It's funny how we crave the same type of foods sometimes...maybe we've been around each other so long now that our tastes and cravings are the same...like girls who live together get their P's at around the same time? Yes? No? hahahaha. After lunch we hung out at his place so he could shower and all, then we headed out to the movies to watch the much anticipated (500) days of Summer. It was a very unique film I think...the narrator specifically said that it was not a love/romance story...it was about a girl and boy that meet, the boy falls in love, the girl doesn't. It depicted the truth behind life and how it isn't fair and how things just don't go your way at times...maybe things just happen for a reason and it's all fate? I could go on and on and tell you what I think about chance, taking risks etc...but I don't think that I will bore you with it, not today at least =) The movie was GOOD, watch it if you like indie type films! After the movie, we went to makan for a late dinner, but it was closed! Closed on Saturday night?? Hmm wonder what was going on...we were a bit bummed, but ended up going to uncle billy's instead. We ordered a seafood claypot, sizzling beef in black bean sauce and a sambal vege. It was such a satisfying meal...loved it!
Sunday morning...woke up all tired...luckily I didn't get any nightmares. I'm finding that when I eat too much just before bed, I get the worst dreams...so phew, seemed like I escaped it. Around midday, dorky and me went out for lunch (I know....we eat a lot!) at Spencer village. It was so packed! We both ordered kway teow soups...see same cravings again! And also, a side of 'carrot cake'. Nomnomnom! After our lunch it was back home for me...we decided to have a quiet Sunday to relax and wind down. Played lots of DS and made resources!
On Monday, no phonecalls for anything! So I continued making resources and chatted to Jas for a little bit. It took me a whole day to make, print, laminate and cut...all well, I guess it's better to be prepared for teaching! The day went at a moderate pace until night time. I watched a new series called Glee! Dorky showed me the trailer so I showed it to Jas haha...we were all watching it at the same time...quite a good series...I just love any show that has singing! The characters were all so...weird! But funny to watch I guess, but yey! Now I have more shows to download and watch...wooot!
Royal show this weekend!! I can't wait to go! Even though it's the same thing every year...it still excites me...seeing everyone get caught up with the show fever...dress ups, show bags, sideshow alley and the FOOD! hehehe..love it =) Except this time...I promised myself that I would not buy any soft toys...I have so many and I only just transported most of them out of my room...so I don't need replacements! 2 showbags shall be enough for me...no toys...
I also started reading Dan Brown's new book, The Lost Symbol...it's getting exciting, although this book is very similar to his past books...same sort of sequence, just different symbols this time? I don't know, but I'm still quite enjoying it =) I just love books that come out in a series...I guess I just never want a good story to end.
Mmm...not much else on my mind right now, so I guess that's it for now!
Ciaoooooo!

I had a discussion with dorky last night about communication. Not so much communicating with friends and with each other, but rather with strangers to complain, assist and inform. Sigh...to be honest, I truly hate calling up people to enquire about something...I find it terribly nerve wracking, am I being silly? I don't know, maybe it has something to do with my childhood...my parents were never really great at speaking English, so they would ask me or my brother to call up banks, insurance companies etc..and help them to solve their problems for them. I dreaded these moments because I had no idea what to ask and fumbled over my words and also used words that I had no understanding of, which got me, my parents and the person on the other line very frustrated. So after 'helping' my parents for all those years...I am scarred! Nowadays when I am required to call up people on the phone, I tend to hesitate before calling, but I make myself do it...there's nothing to be afraid of, it's just asking for help =) Wooooooosah...after saying all that, I managed to call up the Department of Education and Training and found out why I haven't gotten the rest of my pay, but should be receiving it in the near future. So the moral of this little story is...JUST DO IT!
Anyhoo...last Friday I got my final CC vaccine. Bala wasn't in so I got this lady doctor, who made me feel uncomfortable as she acted so professional and all...weird. The shot itself wasn't too bad, I didn't even get a chance to psyche myself up for it because the nurse jabbed me without warning. So glad the needles are over though...I got congratulated for getting them all done haha....maybe a lot of girls forget to come back? That night, dorky and me went to the city for a bit of a walkabouts...mainly to check out the new EnEx (is that what it's called?) mall. It was quite nice inside...didn't seem like we were in Perth at all, although the things sold were a bit pricey...sigh, one day I shall afford them! After checking that out, which took no time at all, we started to get a wee bit bored, because there wasn't anything we really needed to buy, so we decided to catch the movie UP! It was such a sweet movie, I loved it...it was a simple movie, which really made me think about, life! For some reason I really connected with the old man in the story. Like the man, I also find that I attach myself to things and find it hard to let go and just move on...but I guess life really is full of wonders and adventure...only if you seek them. So in conclusion, UP, for me was insightful...loved it even more because it was in 3D!
On Saturday morning, unexpectedly I took a train into the city and met up with Jas outside Croissant Express! She picked me up and took us both to Ikea to surprise ama and her family. Hehehe! It was mega busy that day, but luckily we got parking almost straightaway...so yay! We also found ama quite fast due to Chicken's logical thinking and spent quite a while with them looking through furniture. After a while we got really hungry and ordered some wonderful Ikea food. I actually got to taste the salmon this time...hooray! But, ama's aunty ended up paying for us all to Jas and my dismay...they're so tricky! But thankyou so very much for treating us aunty!! And yes...I'm thanking her now because we forgot to tell her in person..oops!!! After that adventure, we went back to ama's place and sat in the car and chatted mostly about 21st birthday plans...exciting =D That night....I really can't remember what I did...so bad =(
Sunday...I got a 9am phonecall for relief teaching at Winthrop Kindy so hooray! Then around midday, dorky and me rushed into the city to buy a couple of essentials that I needed and then from there it was off to the Elephant and Wheelbarrow for lunch with Calvin. We ordered our food and waited a really really long time for it to come out....we were not happy because we had a Glory match to go to! Anyway we ate our meals fast...we have never seen Calvin eat so fast before...quite amazing really. We took a long while to walk to the stadium...my feet hurt! The first 15 minutes of the game was excellent...Glory scored 2 goals just like that but after that it all went downhill. We watched a disappointing game..it was a draw, which wouldn't have been too bad except the other team scored an unfair goal...so no one was happy about that...especially dorky! Grumpybum! Went home and prepared for the next day!
Monday...had relief teaching! All went well, I think. The EA was super helpful and we got through the day safe and sound. Their kindy finished at 2:35pm, which was odd...but good I guess...I got to go home half an hour early. But because we finished early, I also experienced the full craziness of parents picking up their kids...it was so busy!! That night, dorky and me went out for a coffee at Dome and relaxed a little =)
Tuesday was my day off...whoopee! Didn't do very much I guess excpet sleep in and researched some things online. The twins also embarked on their Europe trip today...such lucky ducks. The Europe trip was a 21st birthday gift from the twin's dad...sigh I wish I was in Paris right now!But oh well! Anyway, at night, dorky and me ate vietnamese food..yomyom! We weren't entirely full from dinner so we went to gelares and had a waffle too! It was strangely quiet for a Tuesday night, but for once we enjoyed being the only Asians there sitting on the comfy couch...a great night out eating! Hehe!
Wednesday, I had work without my boss around. I talked to my boss's mum about my relief teaching clashing with the cafe work dilemma. I was so surprised at how understanding she was...she said teaching was my future and if I got called for relief then I shouldn't have to hesitate to accept it..the cafe was just a temporary job. Unlike my boss, she came up with a solution for me...all I had to do was to call her up and she would replace me for that day...she's so nice and cooperative! Thank you Doreen!! Hehe! Only bad thing that happened at work was a glass shattering in front of my face. I went to put a glass cup on a shelf but accidently knocked it on something, causing it to shatter into hundreds of pieces. The glass flew everywhere, in my hair, on my clothes, in my hands and even some on my face. I was in such a shock! The glass seemed to bounce off of me and luckily I didn't get any cuts, except for a tiny one on my wrist...omgosh I felt like I escaped something really bad! So thank God for that! After that ordeal...I had a nice relaxing night at home =)
Thursday was work again...Kylie seemed like she was in a phase the whole time and stayed well away from making coffees. I had heard that last week was a disaster because they were so short of staff that Kylie had to make the coffees, which she can't handle alone. Apparently costumers were complaining that they hadn't received any coffees and demanded their money back. Karla had to also start writing up credit notes for them, she said it was the worst experience she had ever been in. I felt so bad after hearing all that, I just wonder why Kylie didn't ask more people to work that day? I did let her know in advance...but anyway...everything went really smoothly at work this time. At night, dorky and me did a spot of night shopping, but bought nothing! We also saw the smallest and cutest little puppy! Omgosh...it was as small as coco when we got her...so so so tiny! Dorky kept shaking his head and muttering, "it's so small...smaller than my foot...could crush it" hahaha! I wanted to take it home and poke it =( Maybe I'll swap it for coco hehehe!! Anyway after window shopping, we went to Makan2...Jas didn't end up going, but we went anyway...just siddenly had a craving for teh terik! We ordered 2 cold ones and also a sardine prata, which I must say was very yum! Had a great night...even though that dorky was grumpy and sickish...get well soon xx
Friday again...it's already past 1pm and I was going to start making some more resources..gosh...blogging actually takes up a lot of time! I enjoy it though...activating the brain is a good thing hehe! I can't wait for the school holidays to begin..I can sleep in again without feeling guilty for 2 weeks! Being on call for teaching jobs is scary...there's always that feeling you might get a phonecall at any second of the day...argh...I hope I get used to it...I want more phonecalls and hopefully I won't miss any this time!
Yeaps and that's all folks!

It's Friday again...a day that I am starting to feel is my breathing day. What a busy week I've had!
Last weekend was karaoke night with the girls! We started at 9pm and they sang until 2am! My goodness, we were all getting so sleepy by the end of it, we almost ran out of songs to sing! Haha seems like we're a bit out of practise =P I had fun though, I sang along to some favourites...hopefully no one heard me though haha! That was Friday night...
On Saturday, I was supposed to take my dad out for a father's day lunch at freo, but it was cancelled because of my mum. My dad made her angry (he scratched her car), sooooo there was no happy mood to go. I had a free day to myself and I made more teaching resources....it was productive and for the first time in ages...I didn't go anywhere on a Saturday! Felt quite good...
On Sunday, we took dorky's rellies to Nandos for lunch in the city. I'm not too sure if they like it though..oh well, I know that dorky and me did!! After lunch we had trouble deciding where to go next...we were supposed to go to Hillarys and visit Aqwa, but we came to the conclusion that Sg's aquarium was most probably better than ours ahaha! So King's Park it was? But...on the way there we passed Harbour Town and yeaps...that's where we spent the day! Good thing for me because I actually kind of wanted to go shopping that day =D After that I kind of realised that I don't particularly like going shopping with aunties =/ they take a longer time to look around than I do...I know how dorky must feel when I shop now...sigh! Anyway after shopping we all relaxed a bit back at dorky's place before we headed off again to eat at Victoria Station in Burswood. It was Father's day so it was quite busy, but the food was so yum! We drank really good wine had angus steaks and a seafood platter...nomnomnom. The bill came out to be quite high, so thanks to Alan who paid for us! We all ate so much that that night I couldn't sleep properly and I even got a nightmare! Don't sleep whe you are bloated!!!!
I got about an hours sleep and the next morning I just didn't feel right about going to work, so i stayed home and rested. That night I got a phonecall for relief teaching for the next day so yay! But, I didn't get any sleep that night =(
Tuesday, I took a Pre-Primary class at West Leeming. The EA there was super supportive and helped me get through the day, although it wasn't too hard...the class was so lovely! I didn't have any trouble in the classroom at all, which lifted my confidence up, plenty! During recess though, one of the kids in my class collided into another boy whilst running and she had to be sent home. Her mum didn't seem happy at all and she was telling her daughter off! So bad...it was just an accident. That incident rocked the boat a little bit...these things seem to always happen when there is a change...or its just me! Even though that happened I had a really great day...I learnt alot from the EA, she's so awesome =D That night I slept well...finally!
Wednesday had work at the cafe...my boss wasn't in so it was quite cruisey without having anyone breathe down our necks. That night, dorky and me went out for a korean dinner in the city! Yum yum yum, we tried the bulgolgi stew, but I was stressing the whole time because I got another phonecall for relief the next day, which I accepted, but I also had work at the cafe as well. I couldn't get hold of my boss, so i was panicking a bit, poor dorky had to put up with my stress. I contacted some of my workmates and finally got Rong to fill in for me, so thankyou! After a very filling dinner, I went home and prepared for the next day...thankyou so much to dorky for helping me research that night...lifesaver =) But boohooo...no sleep that night =(
So on Thursday I had relief at WL again, this time I took the kindy class. They were all so cute, but loud as anything! I must've come on one of those crazy days because first all it was super windy outside and raining, which made the kids act like animals, then they had school photos, which disrupted my day already haha. I had to keep 20 kids occupied while the photographer took individual shots. It was a busy and tiring morning. To make things even busier, I had learnt that it was one of the kid's birthdays, so we sang and celebrated haha...I was getting tired already...sleep would have been great the night before =( The only time that they seemed to be quiet was during my mat session and during activity time...thank goodness! Disruptive days = fun for kids, headache for the teachers! I did have quite a fun day nonetheless...crazy! but lots of fun =) When I got home my mum said that while she was cleaning, she dropped a can of coke in my room and it exploded..so my room feels all sticky!!! Grr!!! I only just cleaned it too =( Buuuut, she cleaned it up for and that night, dokry and me did a spot of shopping at carousel and I bought some well deserved chocolate and some multivitamins..it's time for me to get healthy =D I slept soooooo well that night!!
Todaaaaay...I semi woke up to the sound of our house phone ringing. At first I thought I was imagining it, I was in a daze...I missed the call. Then half an hour later I was doin some business ahaha and missed a phonecall on my mobile from the same number..that phonecall could only mean one thing...relief teaching! Argh...I took ages to decide if I should call back and by the time I did, the person who had called had obviously left their house already...boohoo a few hundred dollars just flew right over my head like that. Oh well...I hope I still get more phonecalls next week!! This is getting most exciting...earning real money is cool ahah! So today, I have an appointment to get my final CC shot...hooray, no more needles! I'm scared though...
OK so now...I am anticipating a few things...it's getting to the exciting part of the year =D

Oh man, I'm looking at my room right now and I can't help but sigh...big sighs! No matter how many times I clean it, it never seems to look neat and tidy. I seriously have way too much in my room that I am contemplating moving half of my stuff into my brother's room and maybe take up the study room too....but booo, that means more walking to get to things...dilemmas! I am in a bit of a organising mood, I'm sure you have all experienced this before...where you just have this urge to clean, straighten and neaten! Yeah...that's me right now. I've been looking through the Ikea catalogue too, to give me a bit of motivation to start cleaning and gosh, it's making me want to move into the wonderful store...endless meatballs and pear cider! omgosh...it's almost like heaven haha! Anyhoooo, enough of my babbling...wat's been happeninggggg??
On Friday night, it was the Glory game. Dorky and me decided to have a quick dinner beforehand and I think we went and bought CHOOKS! It is soooooo good! They fried our chicken fresh, so you could taste the flavours of the chicken and the peppery batter...yummmm! We ate that pretty fast then it was off to the glory! It was soooooo cold outside that night and I went numb all over! The game itself went faster than usual and it was quite exciting to watch! The team played quite differently, they had a faster pace in my opinion. I found myself watching the game more this time =) Anyway, by the end of the match my feet were ice cold! Twas a good game though...Glory won =D
Saturday....dorky and me went to IKEA!! haha. I was on a mission to buy a laptop cushion after seeing it at Jas's house! I arrived there all excited!!! We had lunch there first...meatballs and chips , pumpkin soup and dorky had the chicken and vegetables, pear cider and a chocolate mousse. Such yummy food, but in a way it reminded me of plane food? But I love plane food! hehe...the only disappointment about it was that they didn't have any salmon =( Anyway, after we were filled up to the brim, we began exploring the store where we dreamt of our future house designs...such wonderful dreams =) Yeaps...before long we found the laptop cushion and dorky even got one for himself. I also picked up a large cushion for my swivel chair, so yay! No more sore bottom! I also saw a glass table that I really really want, but I'm not sure if it will fit in my room well, so maybe another time =( And then at the end of our shopping journey, dorky bought a whole slab of pear cider home...craaaaaazy, but he gave me some for emergency drinks..thankyou! Harharhar...after that home I went to try out my new things. Also, later that night, dorky went and picked up his rellies from the airport and I stayed home and slept =)
On Sunday, I missed out on dimsum with dorky's family...I decided to do some work instead. It was quite a productive day and I got a lot of resources made. After their lunch, dorky and me went to the movies to watch District 9 and it sure is a pretty graphic and I suppose, unique film about cruelty against aliens? Very interesting, although disgusting haha. After the movie, we joined dorky's family for dinner at Tony Romas...the ribs were so good that night, the best that I have had so far. I was completely filled up and had no room for dessert, boohoo. Thankyou to uncle for treating us all! Too bad Sunday went so fast...before I knew it I was already in bed ready for work the next day =(
On Monday afternoon I got an unexpected phonecall from Mr Rob Osborne. He asked me if I was free to relief teach the next day...of course I said yes! So on Tuesday I started my first relief teaching job at West Leeming!! It was so exciting to be back, but I was a bit nervous too. I rocked up at the front office with bagsful of things and was given a map of the school and a timetable..eeps! I'd already forgotten how to get around the school...I forgot how to get to middleblock so I asked a few kids, who didn't know either...my goodness, how long have they been at school for now? Hahaha neh...after asking about 3 kids I was pointed into the right direction. The class that I got had majority boys and about 6 girls...so as you could imagine, with a combination of a new teacher and classroom full of 8 year old boys, it would be a very busy day. The day started off with fitness, they were practising for their sports carnival I think...the baton relay...do you remember that? Haha..they kind of really sucked at it too =/ lol...funny to watch though. Then afterwards I got the kids to play some literacy games and also got them writing for an hour. Then came recess, then maths games then lunch. I decided to be really brave and ate my lunch in the staffroom. I entered and nervously said hello to Mr Hurrel!!! Who smiled at me and said hi. Then I sat at a table by myself and I was alone for a while, but then other teachers came in and joined me yey! Mrs K Brown was there, Mrs Ellis and a few others that I had never seen before. It was funny because they couldn't believe that 10 years had passed since I was a student at the school and they kept saying that they must've aged a lot since then...but they hadn't really? To me they looked exactly the same and I told them that hahaha...I think I may have won myself some brownie points lol. We had a good laugh...they were really nice and gave me a lot of support =) After lunch the kiddies told their news and then we did a worksheet to fill in time, then they went off for music, so Ii had an hour to spare and decided to helpt he French teacher next door. Funfunfun day and best of all...the paaaaaaay!! I can't wait to be called for relief again =) Please let it be soon!
Wednesday and Thursday I had cafe work and it was blah....same old same old. On Thursday night, dorky and me went to Garbos and we tried the new angus burgers from maccas. Try them! They aren't too bad at all...alot more filling than the normal burgers and they look a little healthier too..mmm the grand angus! We shopped around Garbo, looking at puppies, buying stationary and then grocery shopping. After that we headed to utopia to meet the girls for another session of bbt! We talked and laughed heaps...ahahaha and Eva and her Boon Pu lol! She cracked up for ages and so did we =) We also talked about 21sts, awwww I'm getting excited for everyone...I only wish that I could've planned a better 21st birthday now, but I had no one to talk to it about when I had mine...oh well, there's always my 23rd??? Hehehe!
Now it's Fridaaaaay, I finally get a day to relax. My nights have been filled with Job applications, resource making, lesson planning and facebook games haha. Today, I shall not do much yay! But tonight we shall have some fun at Karaoke wahoo!! Can't wait!
xoxoxo
