R.I.P old blogskin....you served me well and made everyone want to drink OJ...
Now with my new blogskin, everyone will want giraffes...hooray for giraffes =D
Update will come soon, but for now all I want to say is...
RAWR!!!!!!!!!
Hi! I'm supposed to be giving my car a bath right now (as well as other dirty things ie. coco), but my mum ran off with it so what am I to do instead? blog =D Yes it's been a while...
So CNY has been and gone and it was a lot quieter this year...especially the dinners because my brother never came home from Sydney, so bad...think my mum was disappointed with him, stupid boy, but hope he's doing OK over there. My parents are going to go visit him at the end of the month and they bought a one way ticket! I have no idea what they plan to do there, but I shall be home enjoying my freedom i guess. Anway back to CNY..I tagged along with bf to lion dance performances at the convention centre, adoption place? and marangaroo temple...it's always fun going because it brings out the spirit of CNY and also the free food at the end of the day is always awesome =) I only received 3 ang paus this year...an all time low i think. My mum said she decided to decline our red packets from her friends this year, reason? Because she thinks we're too old for them!!! I completely disagree with that...I should be way richer right now...growing up sure sucks sometimes.
Also, during the 2 weeks of cny, bf and me went and watched a movie by Burswood, whilst my parents watched a concert nearby all thanks to bf's mum who scored free tickets! Aunties and uncles these days are so happening, reliving their younger days. We missed the cny fireworks that night but the fireworks at gloucester park the next night made up for it! Gloucester held a special cny celebration with lion dance performances and a miss china or asia contest...it was all very interesting..dorky and spent most of our time people watching, the best free activity to do =)
On one of the nights I also drove myself to my boss's house for another cny dinner with the cafe staff. I made my way to willo quite successfully but somehow got disctracted and got lost to her house (she lived on a weird diagonal street that i missed) but my wonderful GPS saved me! Anyway, my boss cooked all the dishes there, which was a lot, but not very tasty (sorry!) so I didn't eat very much, but was very appreciative of her efforts haha! We all chatted and mingled and my boss asked why i hadn't brought bf with me...siggggh she usually says she wants just the staff only and I think the only reason why asked about bf was because so much food was left over tsk tsk! But it was fun anyway...I left in an hour and drove to bf's place to watch foxtel =)
On the 27th it was my mum's 53rd birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAY! She celebrated early with her friends, twice! And by the time her actual birthday arrived, she didn't want to celebrate anymore, so I gave her, her present and she actually loved it (special teapot and scratchies haha), so whoop! That day, jas and me also tried bikram at 8am in the morning, which made us soooo tired and hungry that I felt a bit sick, but not headachey like last time. The yoga instructor was not very pleasing to the eyes, he didn't look very fit to us even though he claimed to have done bikram everyday for 4 years? I so don't believe that! Anyway, I just found out that my highschool friend spotted me there that morning and didn't get a chance to say hi =( next time next time! After bikram we bought subway back to my place and ate with my mum haha and we talked about how naughty coco was as well as other things. Then dorky came over and hung out with us before we all went to baddy at the rec with eva and tim =) omg, i felt too tired to play, but i did and what i did not do was play very well, again haha! I let my teams down plenty of times, so I'm sorry!! had lots of fun though =P
As well as cny there was valentine's day, which was really lovely. I spent my morning baking chocolate fudge cakes and wrapping his gifts. We then went to King's park and found a semi-secluded spot and set up a picnic, organised by the wonderful bf =) He cooked seafood risotto, bought oysters and marinated chicken drumsticks and i made a mushroom and pinenut salad...all so yummy! After lunch we watched Valentine's Day, not a bad movie! It was a great day out...loved it all and love my smellyboy haha!
The first day of March was celebrated with a public holiday, hooray! The next day was Tuesday and we celebrated we going to the BSB concert at challenge stadium!! There weren't a lot of people as I had expected but that didn't matter, bsb were so awesome! They still had their moves and that boy band feel...it was like reliving my younger days =D Eva was there too with serene and michelle and they made this cool "bsb" sign using glowsticks, too bad my camera couldnt catch it though...looked good! BSB! such a dream come true haha...thank you to my dorky for giving me nick carter haha!
On Saturday night had karaoke session with jas, yuli and his gang. Before that, I went over to dorky's place and we watched a movie and it ran overtime so I ended up meeting jas at utopia later, sorry jas! At least she had tommy to keep her company =) Anyway, kok was weird but interesting. We didn't know most of the people there but kind of made friends with another Jasmine, who seemed quite nice. Yuli's tubby friend was the best at singing haha with his emo songs and the slow mo one...nothing really happened, just random songs and a lot fo jay chou. One of yuli's friend's reminds me of Tim from OTH...not cool at all haha. We also forgot to pay!
The next day was the Mandurah crabfest! We were super excited about eating crabs and seeing crab related things, but to our slight disappointment...there wasn't alot of crabs =( We walked around the foreshore and it was soooo hot that we both began sweating heaps. Found a cafe called Janice's and had the BEST $10 fish and chips we have ever had...you could actually really taste the beer in the beer batter, so yummy and worth the hour wait! After we cooled down we went and braced the sun again and found food stalls selling crabs, so we bought 2 whole ones and enjoyed it on a patch of grass in the wonderful SHADE! Alot of crab eaters joined us, so I named our patch of grass, the crab eaters =) whilst there, I spotted a lifesize bear, a panda, a blue manna crab and other animals too...very strange! Mandurah is actually quite a nice place...alot of bogans and rednecks though! Loved my day out with bf...i just love mini road trips =)
I think my posts are all over the place, so I'm sorry if you readers get confused easily!! I'm getting lazy to edit and make sense of things that don't make sense haha. Oh well...as long as you get the gist of everything! Anyway, some random things that don't quite fit anywhere...
Movies we have watched so far: Shutter Island, Alice in Wonderland, Percy Jackson, Valentine's Day and the wolfman.
Planning on going to Margaret River at the end of April for the long weekend, super excited!!!
I get off my red P's next month ahaha! No more curfew =D
